We have been buying food from Virundhu for few years now. I am amazed at the consistency in the quality of food they make. Any party in our place, the first place I call is Virundhu for a catering order. My kids and guests have always loved their food. On top of all that, I ask them to customize my order sometimes. I will absolutely rate this place 5 stars or more. A great place to get your authentic south Indian food!!

I have been buying food from Virundhu close to 7 years. I choose to start with the quality first. Every ingredient added to the food is made from scratch, I have never fallen sick even once eating their food. The spices they add are throughly cooked in oil and are not added raw. Second the taste, every item is very flavorful n has a perfect taste. I’m sure this taste only comes from someone who cooks with passion :). My most favorite dishes are – vadacurry , puffs, burrito, cold pasta, spinach pulao, paneer peas pulao, puli sadham, vathalkuzhambu n much more. I will definitely recommend virundhu for their vegetarian food.

I have tried many small business catering services over the years and nothing comes close to Virundhu in terms of authenticity, consistency and quality. The owners put so much effort toward providing flavorful food day in and day out and they don’t fall short even once in terms of keeping up with expectations. Plus, the traditional foods they bring to us is truly an icing on the cake!

We’ve been customers since before Virundhu had its brick and mortar location. The food is meticulously prepared without compromise to quality. If you go there expecting stereotypical oily Indian food, then you’ll be pleasantly surprised. The food, specifically South Indian (tamil nadu) food is impeccable.

They have got some pretty great home cooked South Indian food. I especially loved their poori (which was as soft as ever even though I ate it after keeping it in the fridge for a few days and reheating it) and their sambar. The food would be a bit spicy (but tasty as well) though so if you are not tolerant towards spice, then maybe might not be the best option.
