Attended a private event in the back room of this restaurant, which they charged a significant amount per head for. While the ambiance was fine (a little old school preppy but that’s probably the vibe you’d expect), what I learned later was that when the organizers for my event tried to take home the leftover food (which keep in mind, we had paid for upfront and which we had a considerable amount left of top quality, expensive entrees and sides), the restaurant staff refused and said it was against their policy.

I came with my family for a birthday brunch and we were very impressed. The cornflake French toast was amazing and so was everything else. The service was amazing, our server was Mehdi and he took great care of us. Everyone was very kind and the food perfect! Overall great quality.

Had a very special birthday breakfast at the Vista, located in the Washington Duke Inn. Wait staff was extremely attentive and food was superb. So nice we could enjoy it even though we weren’t staying at the Inn.
