The place has a great ambiance, they need more personal to provide the best costumer service and experience. They need to hire more staff, they only had 2 staff members taking orders. Our appetizers came out on a timely manner but our food came out 30 minutes later and it was cold. Seems like the food was sitting in the counter for a while before it made it to our table. The show was great and made up for the lack of staff.

Excuse the poor photo but man I was hungry , i haven’t eaten here sense before the pandemic and I gotta say this place is still fire I ordered the skirt steak tacos which are topped with beans , cheese and salsa. I also ordered the al pastor and man im glad the quality haven’t changed , the workers here are also friendly, I highly recommend anyone to give this place a try.

I went with a friend and my 13yr old daughter on a Friday night. Despite the bad reviews, I think it’s worth going and experience it for myself. We were greeted at the door and seated within5 mins. The food was decent. I really liked my tacos. Drinks were a little weak (according to my friend),but still very flavorful. The music was and the ambiance was GREAT! It was 80’s & 90’s music. Dj JR Lopez played the best music and we really enjoyed it. A quick shout-out to our waiter Alex for his patience and great service. Overall, i think the restaurant is making a huge effort to improve their service so don’t get discouragedand see it for yourself. Let’s support our local businesses!

First time there and was pretty disappointed. We basically sat ourselves down because there was no one around until we saw a waiter and he said it was fine. After our waiter took our order we waited about 25 minutes for us to receive our drinks. Only because a woman I think she was the manager came by and asked if anyone took our order after telling her our drinks were out shortly after. About 5 min later our tacos came. The abuela tacos were good. I was just pretty upset as to why others who had just sat down got drinks and food before us when we had been there longer. Our waiter never came back to ask us if we wanted anything else. Our appetizer never came. And I personally think they need a better plan on seating. Maybe a host at the entrance. I seen a couple people leave due to no one approaching them at the entrance. Drinks were good. I wouldn’t mind coming back if they fix their issues and hire more workers.

Being a vegetarian, I was extremely happy when I saw that they included a vegetarian taco as a part of their menu, which was very delicious. My mother on the other hand who isn’t and was able to try the tacos de abuela, said that they reminded her of homemade cooking and were also extremely delicious. This restaurant gave off positive vibes and the whole theme is super cute. The service was speedy and efficient contrary to other reviews, and the server Jorge was very helpful and friendly. He gave great recommendations as it was our first time being there and my family and I will definitely be coming back for more.

Our experience at this place was a nightmare!! We had an umbrella fall, almost hitting my daughter on her head and we didn’t even get an apology. We had to hold it in place for about ten minutes before someone came to tell us that the reason it fell is because they don’t have the base for it. The manager (Sandra) came by to tell the waitress, to tell us, that we can stay or go as their are other people waiting to be seated. We cleaned the table with our own disinfecting wipes since it was visibly dirty. Everyone just seamed so busy. Sandra was also wearing her mask on her chin the whole time and she is very rude. The rice is disgusting and the drinks are weak. We didn’t get any napkins until after our meal. I left several comments and a review on their Facebook page and a private message only to be ignored several times. They also removed the review tab off of their Facebook page, and comments with complaints are deleted immediately. The place looks nice, but it’s not worth it. As soon as we paid, Sandra came by with a few others to have us get up and leave. I understand it was busy, but she could have said thank you for stopping by and smiled, since she wasn’t wearing her mask.

My first time at Viva La Frida ! It was an awesome place to celebrate my Birthday. They were great in accommodating us days before this fun event. Their entertainment is awesome, and their tacos to die for. People there are very friendly and attentive. I would celebrate any other special group event there! Absolutely loved it!

When my girlfriend and I arrived at 7pm the manager shook our hands and seated us. The drinks were good, but apparently our order didn’t go through to the kitchen, but everyone around us their orders went through, so we were waiting for 40 mins on tacos. The waiter never once checked to see why were waiting. He missed up both orders once we actually got our food and then brought out the rice and beans at the end of the meal after we were finished eating and the Mexican rice wasn’t even cooked right, it was mushy and sticky. The service was horrible. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The place wasn’t busy and they served us almost an hour late. They forgot to give my sister her food, I asked for lime and napkins and never received them. The tacos were cold. My mother ordered a taco with chicken and the amount of chicken on the taco seemed like the leftovers from the grill. The servers didn’t seem to know how to handle the costumers and sitting arrangements. Service was bad overpriced food.
