Damn, I haven’t had anything this close to Birria in so long. You will not regret stopping by Viva Vegan for this amazing food! I tried the ChimiBirria with Orange Salsa(10/10 flavor). The rice was cooked wonderfully and the portions are quite generous, you can make 2 meals out of it. Definitely can’t miss out on the consomé, it’s very savory!

A coworker / friend of mine, brought me here to have lunch together, and I have to say that the food here is mind blowing. Each of my dishes had jackfruit and the way they cook it, fantatsic. I even told the young lady who took my order, please give the chef Kudos I reccomed this place, if you want vegan Mexican food, this is convincing that it doesn’t seem vegan, but it is!

Amazing vegan food! Great flavors and service. The inside is a bit small and crowded but there is a restroom and about 5 tables. They recently added some nice picnic tables outside and there is shade. My family had a great time. It’s not cheap but also not terrible for being AMAZING vegan food.

We had the taquitos de papa, pozole rojo and birria fries with consomé. Also had the cucumber agua fresca which was delicious. The food had good taste. The pozole rojo was greasy and so were the tostadas that came with it. If it weren’t that greasy, it would be better. The taquitos and fries were really good! I recommend those!

Food was amazing!! Staff is kind and helpful as well. For those who are not vegan, this is a great place to test the waters . My only suggestion for improvement is their beans; I was expecting authentic house made beans; but they taste like they are store bought canned beans. If they can authenticate that, my wallet would be spending here on the daily

My friends and I tried Viva Vegan for the first time today and it lived up to all the hype! I’ve been following their page for a while now and I’m so glad that I decided to check it out! It’s definitely gonna be a new regular spot for me. I tried the “carne asada” Cali burrito and a quesabirria taco. They were both amazing! Everything is very well-seasoned and the portions are pretty generous as well!! The birria and consomé were my favorites. I’ve never tried a better vegan birria. I found myself saying “wow” after every bite 🙂

My partner and I stopped here for a meal after an epic weekend of hiking and hot springs soaking. We were tired and in need of a hearty, healthy and nourishing meal that was meat-free. This was one of the most unexpected delicious spots in what seemed like the middle of nowhere. A completely vegan menu, and most of the “meat” options were also gluten free. Super friendly humans fed us the most incredible, flavorful and deeply satisfying meals. And our bellies feel amazing. We will absolutely be coming back here every time on our way back from the hiking trips we go on in the area. To both vegans and people used to eating meat dishes, you will not be disappointed!
