I’ve been getting this pizza for 4 years now. Absolutely love the taste and the pricing is fairly mild. I WOULD have given this place a 5 star rating for the past 3 years. Quality was perfect and the pizza looked picture perfect. BUT, recently the quality has severely dropped. Three times in a row, the pizza we order well done comes back undercooked, with the most recent reasoning given by the worker “not enough room in the oven.” Normally if the pizza isn’t cooked well done I wouldn’t have minded as much, but the pizza wasn’t edible three times now. The first occurrence the owner offered credit for the next visit. This last visit they just ran the pizza through the oven again. I have two years of pizza making experience. The crust was thin and toppings lately have been scarce. Because of the inconsistency, we are choosing to go to other pizza places. Picture is of a BBQ chicken pizza from our last visit.

Lately, in my experience, it is a hit or miss. Perhaps it’s because the owner, on that day, was taking care of the phone, walk-ins, and the cooking all by herself. It’s goes from excellent to mediocre, so timing and staff is everything in satisfaction; hopefully, it’ll work itself back to excellence. I’ll give it another chance, but !?!?

I found the service friendly and fast. This location is carry out or delivery only. My pizza was ready in just over 10 minutes. My pizza was hot and tasty. I liked the crust and found the sauce just a bit sweet. I would order from here again. Please give a thumbs up if you like or found my review helpful.

I decided to stop in and try this place as I was going back to the hotel from working all day. There aren’t really many food options around here so I did give this one a try and I am glad I did. I walked in and I did not have any issues with customer service or was I overly concerned about people wearing a mask, in which they were, and I ordered this fabulous pizza. From the time I walked in and the time I received my pizza was about 10 minutes.Customer service was great timeliness was great and the pizza was absolutely delicious. I will be stopping there again when I am back.

Really good customer service, and very friendly staff. I forgot I wanted garlic rolls when I came to pick up my pizza and they made sure my pizza stayed warm while waiting:) garlic rolls are AWESOME!

I’ve been ordering from Vocellis almost weekly for over a year & this past week I was at a gathering where the host ordered Domino’s, it was almost inedible & I felt moved to write a review in praise of the Richmond Hwy Vocellis in Alexandria, VA. The consistency in the quality of their pizza is exceptional; I’ve never had a bad pizza, salad, order of vocelli rolls. Their delivery drivers are fast & whenever there’s been a delay, they’ve apologized even though it’s not their fault. The store has even called once to let me know they were extremely busy & it would take a while to get my pizza. They have my undying loyalty & should all make $20/hr.

We love pizza from Vocelli! The crust is excellent and they put a lot of cheese on each pizza. The only negative is that they don’t offer many vegetables for a create your own pizza.
