Stopped by for a drink and ended up staying for dinner. Super friendly wait staff. We got cheese curds, wings and a fish fry with home made potato pancakes , everything was great. Hand muddled Old Fashioned were very good, we will definitely be back!

Decided to go with the grilled cheese cheese burger. Wide cut sourdough and a nice thick patty, but the patty was only half as wide as the bread. I was a little confused on how to get started, but being a problem solver by profession, I made a decision. I think the best way to tackle this sandwich is to cut the bread in half. I ate half as a grilled cheese and half as a cheeseburger. I upgraded to the onion rings. They were cooked perfectly and very tasty.

Food was ok but if you’re not a local, you don’t get the best service. Had lunch there and people that came in after us were done eating and left before we even had our food brought. It was so obvious we were on the outside looking in. Waitresses asked all the rest of the folks how everything not us. Plus, Styrofoam cups for the soup and plastic utensils for silverware including a plastic spoon for the soup??? Recycle much? Heat and Styrofoam and plastic don’t go well together.

Typical townie bar. We came in around 10 and the room got quiet. The bartender served us quickly and then returned to the regulars.

Always enjoy. Staff is chill. They have great burgers, wings and daily specials. I’ve never spent more than $15 or so for a solid meal. Beer is cold and priced right. No frills place, come as you are.
