I’m very impressed with this fried chicken! Absolutely delicious, fresh, and crunchy. It was my first time trying Korean fried chicken. Very nice family running the place, they were really sweet and helpful. Also ordered cheese fries, which were a little weird for me, but my son loved them. I will be back!

It’s very refreshing to see traditional Asian cuisine that hasn’t Americanized its food. The chicken Vons offers has an remarkable, unparalleled crunchiness. The chicken also tastes lighter compared with popular fast food chains. In fact, I somehow managed to consume a full plate of wings without the typical feeling of being weighed down from too much fried food — often accompanied with a second feeling of either regret or a form of self-loathing. Compared with Vons Chicken’s quality, the big brands need to learn a thing or two from the owner-chef.

Von’s well being chicken will fill your belly and warm the soul!! Hands down the best Korean fried chicken you can find in Idaho, and the spice is to die for. Bring your appetite and you’ll still have leftovers for to-go boxes. Highly recommend, Mr. Kim is also super cool so stop in for a chat and good eats!!

I had Korean food once and it was not a good experience. It’s been years since I was willing to try it again, but I’m glad I did. This is a go to lunch place for me now. I go about every two weeks. Portions are large but not overwhelming. Fast and friendly service. Amazing food. Plus it’s local. Just go there.

Service was very friendly and helpful. Chicken was great. The crispy chicken has a great crunchy, light coating and is very flavorful. The red burn chicken sauce is excellent. We had it made spicy and it had a good level of heat without being too spicy to enjoy. Our other favorite was the Yang-nyeom chicken: good deep fried crunch with a sauce that reminded me of sweet and sour. Will definitely be going back!

All in all a good addition to the area! They seem to be getting planted and figuring stuff out still. Good menu options, simple dining set up. Owner seems attentive to your satisfaction. I’d just say add a little more sauce to the wings. The egg rolls where bomb good. Solid dipping sauces as well. Add a little kimchee too !
