After months of following VooSwar on IG, I finally made it in for lunch and it was every bit as good as I had hoped! I can’t wait to come back for Comedy Night and some of the upcoming bands! I enjoyed an ice cold Guinness in the bottle and a big-as-my-plate pork chop sandwich! My friend raved about her chicken wings and waffle and said it was decadent. Friendly staff, owner and chef w friendly community feels. I’ll def be back!

Im in town working for the week and had a craving for wings. I found this place and went to order some lemon pepper wings. They were seasoned to perfection and extremely fresh!!! They were average sized wings as well. Not those humongous ones. The staff was incredibly nice as well. I think they even had a comedy show going on. GREAT PLACE!! I’m going back for dinner tonight. Lol

A fine piece of Mayport History that is carried on by Chef and Owner Mr. Louis, thank you for sharing your rich past of what Pops “Mr. E,” Earnest Davis and Voo Swar did for our Black, African American community and US Navy Service Members providing a sanctuary that still holds true today where you welcome All when at a time for your. Best chicken gizzards I have ever had along with the broccoli!

What an Awesome place to eat some delicious Chicken Wings and More!!! The owner was there, very hospitable and eager to accommodate to Navy Sailors from down the road at the Naval Base! Although these pictures look good…The Food is Way Better!!!

Not sure if covid killed this place or what….the menue isn’t what is portrayed online…not even close. The service was great. Guy was friendly and prompt. I tried the porkchop sammich which had good reviews. It was ok.

We looked for restaurants near me… we found this spot. Wow. What a great place! Home cooked everything! Burger was fresh. Chicken wings fresh! Chicken tenders delicious. Fresh good tomatoes. Read this history of this restaurant too. It’s a cool place. Oh yeah… you can play ping pong there too!
