This was our first visit to Voodoo Taco. We ordered the chips and queso, zombie tots, street corn, dirty bird taco, and the barbacoa taco. We were immediately greeted upon entering by the employee at the register who was very patient and helpful. The atmosphere is modern and clean. The chips and queso was tasty. The cheese sauce was very flavorful. The chips unfortunately were either without spice or overly seasoned with a little too much Cajun seasoning. A better even seasoning of all the chips would have been preferred. The zombie tots were delicious and we highly recommend them. The street corn was a big miss. The menu stated that they were made with mayo and sour cream, the traditional components of street corn, but this corn was simply canned corn, red onions, and way too much cajun seasoning. There was no creaminess to the corn. Please see the attached photo. The dirty bird taco was delicious with lots of flavor and sauce. We recommend this taco. The barbacoa taco was okay with little to make it exciting. It is slow roasted beef with a sweet based sauce. After the dirty bird taco this taco felt just so so. We did not try any seafood dishes so we can’t offer suggestions on those. Overall we enjoyed our visit because the staff were so great, but we found the food to be average.

Excellent dining experience at Voodoo taco. I’ve been coming to this chain for ~7 years now. This was my first time at the 180th and center location.

I paid $10 for the trio and feel cheated. Look at the condiment cup portions of cheese, salsa & guacamole. Shameful!

Tried the new location out West. $6 a taco with barely any Mahi Mahi. The tortillas tasted stale and were not warm. We were the only customers with 3 employees working and they said they were too busy to check our ID for margaritas, to come back later and order them. They also do not accept their own gift cards at that location. Poor service, horrible tacos, and extremely over priced.

I am not too picky, nor am I a mean person (I actually find myself pretty generous), but the nicest word I can find to describe this restaurant was horrendous. We paid nearly 50 dollars for an order of nachos, three tacos, tater tots and “street corn”. After taking a glance it was clear that the tacos were not very generously topped. The surf and turf taco had 4 small pieces of steak and two pieces of shrimp which costed a good five dollars, same for the other two. The street corn was essentially canned corn mixed with onions and cilantro, and the nachos were mid at best. Wasn’t a fan of the customer service either. To each their own, however we were definitely taken aback by this experience especially considering the price.

I tried some street tacos and my wife tried a surf and turf taco. ( for lunch ) I would not order the street tacos again. They were dry, flavorless, and lacking some kind of sauce . The surf and turf taco worked out well. There saving grace was 2 dollar Coors Light beer .

Good music, great food, and friendly service. The gal greeted us immediately and helped us by sharing her favorite menu items to try. We requested one of each (the dirty bird and Baja shrimp tacos) and a small order of some chips and queso!

I stopped to grab lunch for 3 people and my son. I ordered 6 Carne Asada tacos, 3 Zombie Tots and a kids meal. The tacos are $4.00+ and the shells were falling apart with only 4 – 5 tiny pieces of steak. The Zombie Tots were soggy and the kids meal (a simple beef taco) for my 3 year old was even worse. My 3 year old used the word “disgusting”, that sums it up. Spent over $50.00 to pick the small amount of steak out of the shells and eat it with a fork. Never again. – 180th West Omaha Location

For the price point, I don’t recommend you going here. If you want to roll the dice and find out, don’t be upset. Very overpriced for what you get.
