I came here for lunch with my family on Thursday, August 17th. The Italian Stromboli here is amazing! The lady taking our order was very nice, but the service was oddly slow; there weren’t too many other customers in the establishment, and it still took 20-25 minutes for our food to get served. Regardless, food was relatively inexpensive and super delicious!

Ordered takeout. Food was “ok”. Very basic and nothing stood out. Was not necessarily a bad experience though. I will note that chairs and table inside was sticky (where I sat at). Staff was super nice.

Quality sandwiches and pasta. Much better than Subway, similarly priced. Order is always correct, staff is always friendly. Try the veggie grinder, and pasta salad! Best veggie sub around.

I don’t normally share my opinions. I like to just do the star ratings. I have been going to w.g. grinders for over 20 years. I have always gone to the west broad location. Absolutely phenomenal! Hard road location is very depressing. The cashier/ order-taker couldn’t answer any questions and didn’t seem to know much about the menu or how to you the operating system. Maybe she was new, I’ll give her that. The one guy that was supposed to making food spend the entire time we were there, about 30ish minutes, having unnecessary conversations with people who were waiting for their to go orders. At the top of his lungs, I might add. The food was still amazing, but the the service and atmosphere were extremely disappointing. Every table was gross so we just picked the lesser of 8 evils. It looks as if the place is closed and they’re just trying to use up the rest of their inventory first. I will continue to eat w.g. grinders, but only at the west broad location!

Food is decent. Service is meh. Why answer the phone and then put someone on hold long enough that it’s past the deadline to place an order? I get that you don’t want a bunch of orders right before closing. Closing time isn’t the end of the shift, it’s the start of clean up/closing so many business take business up until close. Oh well.

Y.U.M! Such a gem of a spot! It’s too bad that some of these have been shutting down recently. This restaurant takes the sandwich game up a notch! The bread is fresh, soft, and oh so delicious! The side choices are plentiful as well. The cheddar mac is a fav and the pasta salad is great too. Excellent service and the place is very clean. Prices are great too.

We got sandwiches, calzone, desserts, and the ranch pasta salad. The sandwiches had super fresh vegetables and meats on them, great size for the price, and amazing taste! The calzone was better than most pizza joints around here!! Can’t stress enough, how DELICIOUS the calzone was. Crispy, cheesy, flavorful, and hot when picked up! Pasta salad maybe needed a little more flavor, but everything else was super spot on. VERY IMPRESSED!

Lack of consistency is a major issue for me. I often get the same things at numerous restaurants, so when we decide to go there, I know what I’m getting and I know what it’s going to be like. To be inconsistent is a HUGE let down. This location is ALWAYS spot-on. I recommend the club with horseradish mayo instead of regular and a house side salad, while my wife always gets the chicken cordon bleu and their AMAZING cheddar macaroni salad!

I always order the pizza grinder and it was delicious as always. The guy who runs this place is so nice and I saw him walking and older lady out to her car with an umbrella because it was raining. So nice and friendly. The food here is great, you have to try the toffee chocolate chip cookies, and they are only $1 each.

I mean it was just like Subway but the unhealthy version and without a ton of flavor. The buffalo chicken sandwich had the usual Frank’s Red Hot taste with the usual cubed chicken you get from Subway, and served on basic white bread. Their cookies are flatter than the earth and soda machine was out of syrup for the pink lemonade. Beyond this, the place was just confusing. It looks on the inside like I should be able to get a milkshake in a tall glass and have men in leather jackets smoking cigarettes hit on me, but it’s just a kinda average sandwich place. Granted I’ve only been once.
