Finally got to try this sushi place on the mountain. I was pleasantly surprised with the sushi rolls and sashimi. Fresh for being so far inland. Everything we had was delicious. (Black Dragon roll, homemade pork dumplings, vegetable tempura, Uzumaki roll with no rice and cucumber wrap and Imperial sashimi combo). We will be back to try more.

Usually, the sweet and sour chicken is great, unfortunately that was not the case today. So many pieces without any coating and way overcooked and crunchy, on the inside! Half the order was like that. We stopped ordering the s/s pork because it was tough, now it’s the chicken. Kinda disappointing that the quality of the food is inconsistent.

Me and my friend drove by the place a couple times on a Friday afternoon. After reviewing the reviews online about W&Z Asian Bistro, we decided to give it a try because of the great reviews. Unfortunately, the reviews were really accurate in our experience. Once we arrived to the restaurant we were sat and given menus. The drink orders were taken and the server taken off. It was a long time before a server returned to us to take our order. There was not too much business but, it seemed like the servers were all over the place. After, we gave our food orders we waited for the food to arrive. I ordered a miso soup and my friend a sushi appetizer. The appetizers were very subpar and not too nourishing. It was also a long while before our main dishes arrive. We ordered 4 different entrees. Excited to try the food we tasted it but, it was so far below our expectation. The food didn’t taste authentic and lacked skill. We ordered two different dishes and yet we both had what tasted to be the same dressing on separate meals. Before even the first five minutes of sitting we were already having plates taken away. It truly felt like we were being rushed out. We barely finished the food and took it to go so, it would go to waste. The servers quickly taken our plates not really allowing much time to relax and enjoy our meal. For reference, we ordered beef udon, sushi appetizers, miso soup, orange chicken (to-go), broccoli with shrimp, and black bean sauce with beef. We had high expectations for the dishes and we greatly disappointed. We were also left without any spoons for our rice and when we asked the server didn’t bring it around until the second time. The server didn’t seem too friendly and didn’t really check on us. Our bill came to about 80 dollars which I think is too high for the quality and portion of the food. In honestly, there are lots of improvements to be made. This is just our experience I cannot speak for everyone but, I was disappointed in the food, price, quality, and service.

We had dinner last night. It was amazing. Food is good, exceptional service (always someone check everything for you), Better than few years ago lol. Everyone should try this place. Most kinds of Asian food. Hot food or Sushi too. Also they are going to remodel whole restaurant! Good to see them keep updating themselves.

Food is excellent!! Wait staff needs help. They are better cleaning the table, rather than waiting on the table. I should not get my drink 20 Minutes after the food was delivered. You need to have a bartender available at all times and make sure that more than 1 person on your staff can make drinks. Spoke to them about this. They said they were sorry. That was it. This was our 4th time. We have tried giving you guys chances. I think from now on we will order for pick up. Much better service that way.

Tasted very authentic Asian flavors after a really long time. Spice levels were spot on. Service was super fast and servers were very humble. One of us wanted purely vegetarian food and the team here informed that meat/eggs can be taken off from almost every dish on the menu, which was a great plus.

The service was great. The food was hit and miss. We eat a lot of Japanese food and consider ourselves connoisseurs of a sort. The fish here wasn’t the best we have had and certainly not the worst. The rice wasn’t “sticky” enough. The edamame was excellent. The Chinese meals were very good. Overall I would go back for Chinese but not for Japanese. Also, although the entire family did not agree with me on this point, I personally could go the rest of my life without listening to the sappy love songs played at the restaurant and be a happy man.
