I travel all over So Cal, I eat Waba weekly. I always order chicken or steak veggie with white rice. (Easy rice) well this location was almost all rice very little veggies and meat. Had to throw half of my $13 bowl out. I feel that the rice is the cheapest ingredient and they are just trying to make more of a profit. Will not go back when in the area.

A friend and I went here last night 7/1/2023 around 8pm and had a really terrible experience. Firstly, the place was completely empty yet the staff refused to greet us or smile as we walked in. Ok no problem, maybe that’s how they do things here. We walked up the counter and my friend wanted a shrimp plate with no veggies but double the shrimp. The employee immediately cut my friend off and was told that they don’t do custom orders here even though we were willing to pay extra for the double shrimp portion…. What kind of a healthy food restaurant doesn’t allow portions to be customized? We weren’t even asking for a complicated order, just double meat portions….. Because of this experience I cannot recommend Waba Grill to anyone that has specific nutritional needs.

Ordered the mini bowl with chicken. Saturday July 1, 2023. The woman at the counter seemed to get some sort of delight in telling me that I was only getting ‘ rice & chicken’ and nothing else. I’ve ordered this dish many times at other Wabas and this is the first to not give any green onions with the order ( no access to get any onions unless asking for them it appears) . Other customer’s food in the restaurant had these onions on their plates. Therefore this store ‘ holds back ‘ these condiments which is most likely out of balance with company policy. Not impressed. Will avoid this place..

I ordered food online through their website; i got notified that it was delivered (a half hour before the selected delivery time) but I can assure you IT WAS NOT DELIVERED. I called the restaurant and immediately upon answer was put on “hold” aka the phone was set down and never picked back up. how do I know it was never picked back up? I know bc I hung up after ten minutes of waiting and repeatedly tried to call back.. but the phone remains off the hook. thank you for absolutely nothing!

This place is much better after they got a new manager. Before, we would order and the order was always wrong and the food wasn’t cooked right. We stopped going here until we saw the new management sign. Service is excellent and the food is great.

Poor customer service,the personal has a bad presentation. ,they’re rude, the place it’s dirty ( doors,windows, tables floors, soda dispenser) the whole place need a change .the food wasn’t the greatest. The rice was dry the vegetables overcooked and the portion of chicken was small definitely this place sucks
