I went here for lunch and tried their new Boom Boom tacos. I chose the chicken taco and thought it was lacking flavor and the chicken meat could use some more grilling. The carne asada taco was flavorful and tender to each bite. I didn’t try the shrimp because I was afraid it would be a disappointment like their pollo taco. I definitely recommend their carne asada taco.

I usually get a waba bowl with extra steak, girl charged me 5 dollars for extra “waba” so that’s my normal order, I come in today and get my normal order and the kid charges me for extra steak and chicken, which ends up costing more than the bowl itself. Probably won’t be coming back since I ended up spending 50 dollars instead of 30

the steak bowl i purchased was made very quickly. the bowl was warm not hot or fresh as advertised. i would probably stick to another chain because this location isn’t that great. staff wasn’t too nice or welcoming either.

I called place an order while I was at the UPS Store up the street hoping to have it ready by the time I got there. As soon as the girl answered she immediately said, in a bold tone, “can you hold.” Not phrased as a question, more like “wait”. I said okay, no response. I drove down the street through several intersections, entered the Plaza, parked and even went inside the restaurant staring at the employees while I was on hold with them. I mentioned nothing of this to them as I didn’t want to be that petty.

This location has always been a hassle for me. First time I came to this location was a little over a year ago and I had never been charged extra for spicy wanna sauce. Still haven’t at any other location except this one. Now fast forward, I notice they have become real skimp on the food. All I usually order is a side of rice with some avocado on top and spicy waba. Now they have the plant based meat so I’ll get that. Beside the absurd price of the meat, they give so much less rice than they used to. It’s honestly ridiculous. I live a 2 minute drive from this location so it’s convenient but I’ll have to start driving elsewhere to get my money’s worth.
