Special little spot. Lovely hidden gem. The chef is the owner and incredibly gracious and you can he tell his passion by how good the food is. Every time I go he’s trying something a little new. Tweaking things. Incredible sushi. Don’t expect fancy decor. It’s a hole in wall with superb food and service.

We really love the hotto-sake roll. It has a contrasting flavor, smoky taste from seared salmon, spicy taste from the jalapeño! The uni we had today is so-so, not the sweet kind… overall sashimi are fresh.

Small place with only 16 seats – very good cuts of fish and served tastefully – the rice is perfect and they serve fresh wasabi. The amaebi actually tastes sweet and the fried head is served very tastefully – next time I will remember to take a picture before I eat it up ! At the end of 10 pieces of great sushi I was still a bit hungry so ordered an appetizer that looked interesting- it was a combination of ikura uni and a poached egg – what a delight !

Honestly one of the best sushi I’ve ever had. We happened to stumble on this small restaurant per chance while visiting San Francisco, and boy what a find. I opted for the 11 piece Nigiri tasting menu, which was simply a delight. The staff was super nice. We actually ended up coming again a second time before the end of our stay. Highly recommended!

Really wonderful sushi. You can tell that the chefs take true pride in what they do. They made each plate a work of art, and with a taste to match. We took recommendations from our waiter of the 11 piece nigiri and the wabi Sabi roll – both excellent choices! The other two rolls we got were also really tasty.

Came here late on a Friday night and loved it! It was a little tucked away on a side street, but still very easy to find. The sushi was delicious, and the 11 piece nigiri set was such a good deal! The service was very friendly and prompt. They kept refilling our tea, and the waitress even said they’d make some dessert for us next time since they didn’t have any on the menu ☺️
