I drive for a living… and coming to the Waffle House was on my bucket list. The location in N.C. Kenly is amazing. Their employees are so nice and friendly and are ready to help you as soon as you walk in the the door. If youre in Kenly you have to stop by this Waffle House!! Mediocre, the day before wasn’t so good, my server didn’t come to see if I needed anything the whole time there. The next night was somewhat better, my server kept checking to see if anything was needed, although when first waked in, I sat for AR least 5 min before being acknowledged and waited on. Not one that would frequent often.

This location seems to be permanently closed. It’s 7:30 p.m. on a Saturday night and they have caution tape in front of the restaurant. Change your hours and turn off your sign, guys. You’re not open.

VERY WELCOMING STAFF WE SAT AT THE COUNTER I FORGET OUR WAITRESSESS NAME BUT SHE HAD DREDS AND WORE GLASSES I THINK…(I WAS A TAD TIPSY SORRY LOL) SHE WAS REALLY REALLY NICE FOOD DIDNT TAKE LONG AND SHE DIDNT GET UPSET WHEN I CHANGED MY ORDER WHICH IN MY DEFENSE WAS BESCAUSE THE STEAK THEY WERE GONNA USE LOOKED OLD WHICH I ONLY NOTICED CUZ I WAS AT THE COUNTER… PLUS THE FOOD WAS REALLY GOOD TOO WAFFLE WAS SOFT FLUFFY AND SYRUP WASN’T OVERLY SWEET. ONLY REASON NOT 5 STARS IS CUZ THEY DIDNT HAVE WHIP CREAM AND CUZ I HEARD THE WAITRESSES (NOT OUR WAITRESS) SPEAKING ABOUT US NOT TIPPING OUR WAITRESS WHICH IN OUR DEFENSE WE DID TIP HER JUST NOT UNTIL WE LEFT AND NOT ON THE CARD WE PAID HER WITH WE TIPPED CASH.
