While we were finishing up our food our server was walking to our table to hand us our check as she whipped around and started yelling at another server. “You better not be talking about me” and then proceeded to continue to yell at the lady with the pink hair. I don’t know what pink hair lady had said but she didn’t say it loud enough for costumers to hear. But i know our server had been complaining the whole time we were there about her working a double. Our server proceeded to get in her face clearly picking a fight as the pink hair lady kept telling her to get out of her face. Our serve pushed the other lady and kept telling her to do something about it, Finally the pink hair lady walked away and went and made a phone call: 10 mins later we get our check. I pay for my meal and as I am walking out our server starts again with the pink hair lady about how she is on drugs and she has a crack pipe in her car and accusing her in front of everyone of doing drugs. Two people had walked in and sat down and as I was getting in my car those two people had walked right back out. This was VERY unprofessional. I am so thankful my children were not with us. All I wanted to do was enjoy my birthday weekend. Our server needs to be more professional.

This waffle house is by far my favorite in Wilmington. The staff is always great. Morning shift was fun today. We are normally here for the evening shift and they too are great. Never have had an issue with the food. If you want a waffle stop by this one.

Walked in, placed a to-go order. 25 minutes later, they realized they never put my order in to be cooked, and the lady helping me says, “Did I take your order?”, then tried to sneak the slip to the cooks and expected me to wait another 20 minutes. Probably the worst service at a restaurant I’ve ever experienced. Who forgets to give an order to the cooks, when your sole purpose is to take orders to give to the cooks, and you can’t even remember that you took my order.

My husband loves waffle house but myself I like to go somewhere else because everyone I been I the floor are awful looking they don’t change there gloves like they sure the bathrooms most time are not clean but we stop at the waffle house in Wilmington NC and I got to say the floors was clean I seen the cook change his gloves and it really was nice and to my surprise the bathrooms was very clean I did enjoy my breakfast there hope they keep up the excellent service and cleaning

Rude rude rude. We walked in and there was a line of open seats to sit and wait. As soon as I walked through the door this older employee yelled in my face to get outside. It was very startling. We stand outside and she comes out and starts saying they are full and we couldn’t be in there. Okay why wouldn’t you just tell us that instead if immediately yelling at us? We waited outside for a while and people were leaving. She never came to let us back in so we left

If you like a good ol down-home breakfast meal on a dirty plate, this place is for you! Food sticks to your ribs like your feet stick to the floor. So, if you prioritize decor ambiance and cleanliness, try somewhere else. But if you crave breakfast only second to your momma’s, this is definitely the place. Best waffle around.
