It wasn’t the fastest but they were extremely busy and doing the best they could. Waitress was really sweet and was working her but off. Her effort was very much appreciated. As for as atmosphere, it’s a Waffle House, you not going out to a dinner show, it’s what you’d expect from any Waffle House.

Love waffle house hash browns. The waitress forgot my wife’s drink and she stood in 1 spot just looking around for a good 5 minutes. Finally said something about wife’s coffee. She got it then had to ask us if everything was in front of us or if she missed something. A manager from another store walked in and had to take orders cause they were backed up, the manager there was literally doing nothing. Hashbrown got done and they were all wrong cause waitress didn’t put the toppings on it. On top of all that the lady who was washing dishes was literally in front of us and kept saying comments about how she was non stop washing them in front of us. She’s not wrong. Really dumb spot for washing dishes.

The Waffle House we usually go to is closed for renovations, so we went further down the street. Turns out that some if the people from the closed restaurant were there. Very clean, server was fantastic, food was served quickly and hot, coffee was fresh…what more could you ask for! Atmosphere is friendly, lots of locals, a typical diner, with people holding doors for others too coming and going 🙂

The waitresses seem to be only worried about their regulars. Our order was close but not correct. I asked for Raisin toast, and my husband got regular toast. My husband asked for a waffle, and we both got a waffle. Asked for eggs up and runny, his yolks were half cooked. Nothing had flavor. I think we will stick to the waffle house across from Walmart.

Service was terrible. Did not listen to what we ordered. Did not receive what we asked for. Restaurant was very filthy. Food and trash on floors, tables still had dishes where people ate. Will definitely not return and definitely do not recommend

I’ve eaten at the Manning, SC Waffle House since the 1990s and never had anything less than an excellent experience. Kudos to whoever runs this franchise, never change. Eating there is a great way to begin a road trip.

That place is terrible one of their waitress they had was the worst she act like she didn’t know what she was doing the whole time and to top it off she was had a ear bud in her ear listening to music and she didn’t even ask if I needed anything. I won’t go back there ever again

Myself and a friend went into the Waffle House in Sumter, S.C. on Broad St. in front of the mall. It was about 4:00am and we sat down and waited approximately 15 minutes before a waitress come to our table. She didn’t greet us or say anything and proceeded to put the napkins and silverware on the table. Instead of asking us if we wanted something to drink, she, still without saying to us, turned around and walked away. We waited approximately 10 more minutes and finally we stood up and left to find some where else to eat. I counted how many other customers were there to eat and counted five. It was not busy at that time in the morning and received very, very poor service. Oh, I mean no service at all. I love Waffle House but this was extremely disappointing.

Good is great, good service. Entrance is horrible, broken concrete, yellow post bent over, just now cost me $186.00 for new tire, (discount tires next door!) won’t be back until the fix entrance/parking lot!!!
