After a long night of working I was really hungry and by that time the only place open was of course Waffle House! So I made my way to the one on Woodruff rd. As I am heading to the door I noticed that there were two workers sitting and talking and looking at me like why is he there! As I entered I was told they could only do take out. The only reason I was given was that the grill had to be cleaned. So I asked if they can still cook the order then what difference would it make if I can sit to eat. The I was told oh well I can only make you a waffle so I can clean. So the story changed when they realized that their story made no sense whatsoever. So I asked for an explanation and they were not interested in answering my questions. They both had really bad attitudes and should find some kind of work that has nothing to do with people! It was obvious they just didn’t want to do anything I had just interrupted the conversation and I guess their peaceful night of doing nothing! Sometimes just having a warm body to work for you is just counterproductive seeing how they make it clear that you’re not welcome.

They are like a family. Soon as you open the door they say good morning and if you come there enough they’ll say good morning and your name and then when you leave they’ll say . Goodbye and see you next time they are well organized and, clean we like sitting at the bar. We get quicker service plus don’t forget to give them a nice tip, they deserve it

I pulled into the parking lot and got on my phone to talk to a co-worker. I started to pull off to head to work because I didn’t think I would have enough time to order. I decided no I’m going to order something anyway and pulled back in. I walk into the restaurant and got questioned about why I pulled in and out. I’m going to assume they have drama issues in there but I’m clearly dressed in a work uniform far from drama behavior. I didn’t like being checked at the door like some late night drunk stumbling into a waffle house. I don’t expect 5 star service….but I don’t expect disrespect either!

Judging based on Waffle Houses. Seating is limited like most Waffle Houses. Food was cooked correctly and quickly. Our waitress (I think her name tag said Sam) was friendly and always on the move. A good meal for a good price. No major complaints.

Today is 3/21/23 at 10:30 am. Our waitress was vey polite the only waitress! Our cook worked very hard fighting a loosing battle. 3 booths and 5 chairs were covered because they had no help. This is starting to become a trend. It must pay more to sit at the house and watch tv than it does to work at Waffle House. But management, needs to figure out ways to keep employees or shut the doors. All Waffle House locations are small and they should not have 2/3 of the seating area shut down.

My cheese omelet was an egg scrambled in the pan with cheese thrown in the middle. Hash browns were uncooked in the middle even though I asked for extra crispy. Bacon was raw on the ends. Worst Waffle House meal ever. I’m a huge fan of WH; even used WH for the morning after breakfast after my daughter’s wedding. This was awful.

I had to change my review… I got carry out this afternoon oh, the hash browns were burned, the eggs were fried instead of scrambled, they forgot my jalapenos and my Cherry Coke was so full of ice it was gone in two sips… Maybe it was the staff and not the restaurant itself? All I know is that it was so terrible I couldn’t let my old review stand. The picture below is of my food from a month ago… And it was great, my food today was so terrible I didn’t even want to take a picture.
