Most definitely best decision I made after passing the exit to turn around and head back to the Waffle House for some much wanted hash browns!!!!! Thank you to the hard working woman who was there holding down the whole restaurant with a smile on her face! Just know I appreciated you and your service! Hands down my favorite Waffle House and will definitely be back in the future. Keep your head up!!!! With her and the man there that cooked mine and my sons food energy and good vibes will always keep us coming back!!!!

I have finally decided it was time to leave a review on this joke of a restaurant. We have been frequent customers of this store for over 30 years. In 30 years I have never been turned away once until the last couple of years. We have been walked up to a lock door the last 5 visits. At least 4 of the last 6 visits we have been told that the grill is closed for cleaning. Mind you we go at all different times so unless it’s a very odd coincidence, the grill should be the cleanest grill in Waffle House history. Now we have to drive 15 mins to the store just to find out if they will even let us in the door. They refuse to answer the phone most of the time. I understand the struggles with finding employees to actually come to work. I have been hiring dozens of people before, during, and after the pandemic. What I do know is there are dozens of Waffle House employees working from home and offices somewhere. I would hope that before we lose such a popular place in our little town for generations that some of those desk jobs could become in the store jobs until we can finally figure out our workforce issues. If that ever happens. Just my 2 cents on a Saturday night in the Simpsonville Waffle House once again.(closet Waffle House to this embarrassing establishment in Fountain Inn)

Went there for breakfast at about 645. Sat there for a few minutes, restaurant had a swarm of flies in the windows. Cook was complaining about someone needing to be fired and refusing to cook anything. Waitress said we could wait for a manager to show up. We left without eating as they didn’t know when that would happen.

Our waitress was great but the cook burnt my bacon so bad it was unchewable, my hashbrowns were so burnt it hurt my teeth to eat & the onions in it was also burnt my grilled chicken was good but the bun was burnt…

It’s been a long time since I had been in a waffle house. Not sure if the woman was over the age of 40 and tired but I have never seen a waitress sit down while taking your order. I asked for an Angus Hamburger and got a cheese burger. My daughter’s partner asked for regular hash browns and got it with ham. My mother had to ask for a refill. My daughter’s roommate said to put the hash browns on his tab and he would eat it.

Never answers the phone for to-go orders. Have to order in person then wait 30-45 minutes for your 2 plate order. Cook tried to tell new customers they were out of food because “to be honest I’m just tired of working”
