I think the girl was new and trying to get everyone’s order done. They should’ve had someone else there to help her out. One gentleman was waiting for about 20 minutes to be helped and he got mad and left cuz she was getting all the to go orders done plus my order. I kinda felt bad for the girl cuz she was really trying to get everyone’s order taken. Plus its a Friday night on top of that. Yea someone should’ve been there with her.

I went in here 2 days ago and got pork chop and egg plates. I noticed The Cook named Danielle was making a Grit Bowl for someone. It appreciated. so good I asked for one as well. She made sure I understood that it was a separate item, not my normal grits that come with the meal which I appreciated. The night crew never answers the phone at night and when you finally do show up there is no one in restaurant but employees sitting around eating … ANSWER THE PHONE FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS …. Customer service has gone down hill literally it’s ridiculous i drive all the way to west ave location when this location is 3 minutes away because you all never answer the phone for me to place my order ! The waitress (even though I wish that I could remember her name) was very attentive to the needs of her customers. Not just my table, but the tables of the other guests as well. It was a pure pleasure and honor to watch how she took pride in getting to know each person’s order especially the drinks. She treated every guest like family and not for the tip, but to make the experience more enjoyable. She excelled in that mission.
