For context, this is my second trip to the “south” (first time was 20+ years ago). Everywhere we drove in Atlanta I saw the iconic “Waffle House” signage so it seemed fitting to experience it at least once. The service was friendly welcoming us in and finding seats quickly. Our waitress was primed to take out order but we weren’t ready. Luckily I researched Waffle House history. We opted for a hash brown bowl with eggs and cheese (sausage) and a waffle with pecans. Service is super-speedy. Price is very very reasonable. Quantity of food served (a lot). As a picky eater I would have liked a more crisp waffle and crunchier hash browns. Store number 1xx out of ~1,900 was efficient with a cohesive and happy team of cooks and servers.

Don’t ignore exit 99 on 1-85! Get off and get a taste of Juan Carlos’ sexy t-bone steak. You will feel right at home with this night shift supervisor and super star chef. I honestly felt like family. The steak was delicious and I didn’t have to add any steak sauce. It was a perfect steak. This is store #177 on Jimmy Carter Blvd in Georgia.

Food was edible for the time of night. The only issue I had with them was putting the condiments butter and syrup on top and in the middle of my peanut butter waffle. It was very unsanitary, and I did not eat the parts that the condiments touched. Do better, please .

The lady named Loezin(lady with hat in the picture) is a horrible racist. She was just chatting and paid no attention to my order. The folks here didn’t want to even take my order in the first place, I had to push them to take my order! When I asked her why my hash brown order (requested without meat) was wrong , she asked me to leave.

Now I can say that I’ve been to WH after midnight! Hungry after a concert on a Sunday night in GA and there are NO places (Not even fast food) still open … then I see the lit Waffle House sign over the trees in the distance. What the heck. Food is as one expects from a WH, and it hit the spot.
