I eat here with my fiancé all the time because it’s one of the few places open when he gets off. Tonight I wanted to eat here and he wanted something else so I got it to-go, I gave him my card for my food and he was going to leave the tip with cash. He paid with the card and was going to tip when he got the food, the woman who checked him out made a smart remark saying “no tip? I mean I know your to-go but okay.” Definitely didn’t give her a the $6 tip after that remark, keep in mind my order was a single meal so pretty decent if you ask me when all she did is take the food someone else cooked and put it in a bag. Don’t except a tip when you answer the phone and sound like you hate your life and then when you complain about no tip even though we were going to tip, we just had cash. Shouldn’t make assumptions, this is the same woman who comes in bragging about not showing up to work and always talking about her love life at work in front of customers.

So I ordered 5 meals to go yesterday. There’s the 11$ worth of takeout charges, okay whatever. I drive back from there and get to my hotel room… the order is wrong. Missing grits… but like honestly… all three if my all star platters were missing the meat. No bacon x2 and no sausage x1. I called the store spoke with waitress Ty. She literally was very sweet and apologetic. She took my order number down from the order said I could come back tomorrow and they would remake my entire order. All I was asking for was just the protein missing. So she said just ask for the manager and they’ll handle it tomorrow when I go there.

Went for a late dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the entire process. From our greetings as we entered up to paying the check on the way out! The entire staff was friendly, helpful and they strive to make sure everyone was well taken care of! Our cook Brianne served up our meals with a flourish! Our waitress, unfortunately I can not recall her name, was very attentive and polite.

Had my first bad experience at a Waffle House. Make sure you don’t sit down at at table if it hasn’t been wiped. I guess it is a big deal to all of the employees and they will talk very rudely in front of you with everyone watching. I stayed and ate the food which was the only good thing I experienced. Also others walked it and had 3 people 2 adults and one small child and got yelled at for trying to sit at a two person booth. Hopefully the employees learn to respect their customers.
