I would have given this a 5 star review but there always seems to be a little bit of a disconnect with welcoming guests and immediately taking drink orders. There were about 9 people working right before the shift change and they all just kind of looked at us with a blank stare kind of like they were not sure what to do. It is simple smile, welcome the customer, and take a drink order. Then let the person who is taking over the table know that the order needs to be taken. That way you don’t have to wait 20 minutes to put in an order. Outside of that the food was good. Maybe an opportunity for a little courtesy training.

The staff is incredible from the line Cooks to the waitstaff impeccable service all the way around! The food is always prepared exactly like you want. I’ve been eating at the waffle House on 29 for almost 18 years now.

I am only relating the very last time we visited one week ago. Our server was inept, late, deaf only when taking our order, and rude to my grandchildren. This is a favorite of theirs because of the waffles. Any other time we have been there, the servers have been wonderful

This place wasn’t busy when we got there at 830 which is why I couldn’t understand our food being cooked so poorly. The bacon burned, the eggs cooked until they were rubbery, and the grits were lumpy and hard.
