The experience was top tier today. I think it’s a new location judging by the cleanliness. I received exactly what I ordered, cooked to perfection, faster than I expected. It was really easy for me to park at the Pilot Truck stop and walk over. Can confirm it’s a trucker friendly location. 10/10 recommend

Perfect place this morning to meet special friends for a cup of coffee and a light breakfast. We could not have ask for better service. Alexis was simply the best. Always a warm smile and very attentive to keeping our coffee mugs refilled. She was simply the best. She certainly brought extra sunshine to all of us today. Thank you for your service. sitting here while giving my opinion. I had to sit at a dirty table and clean it my self while waitresses where talking about their tip 2nd complain is it took 15min for someone to come and ask what i wanted to drink after they served other people that got here after me and last complain is for my refill i had finish eating when they took the tab and saw my empty cup.. other then that my food was cooked perfectly

We were traveling from Atlanta to our home in North Central Florida after visiting relatives. We have had several negative experiences with Waffle House in different areas, but decided to try this one out as we wanted breakfast and had taken a “scenic” route. I/we were extremely impressed with the staff, the food and how well the place was cleaned. Everyone and everything was excellent! I hope the manager passes on our sincere thanks and praise. How this place got 4 stars is beyond me. First off the short order cook is a slob. Watched her for several minutes and was disgusted by it. She doesn’t do well at keeping the grill clean and I think they have a shortage on pans as I Watched her use one pan only the entire time I was there. She would scrape contents of pan on the floor then toss in some oil or butter then begin another order with it. I ordered eggs over medium. Gross. It was like eating a bowl of snot not to mention the 1/2 cup of butter it was swimming in. I also ordered bacon, crispy. She only cooked one side and I could taste the remnants of burnt food that was never cleaned off the grill. Very disappointed to say the least. This place doesn’t deserve the waffle house name. Guess I’ll start looking for a huddle house or just save money and aggravation and cook at home

Not sure of the managers name but considering that myself and my child had to go sit in the car due to the air being on full blast and the restaurant being freezing cold. Food was cold before you could even get it cut up or seasoned to your liking. This was all after I had asked her directly to turn the air up only for her to go turn it down again. The music is extremely loud to the point that you can’t hear the person across from you talking. Maybe it’s time corporate does a visit to evaluate!

After working all day I stopped at this location because I was starving. I walked in and sat down. Ten minutes went by and the server never came to take my order. The cook finally took my order. The server never came to check on me. I finally got up to pay after them not bringing me my check. I stood at the counter for 5 minutes waiting to pay. I finally asked the server if I could pay my bill. She went to the back and got a bucket of ice and refilled the ice machine before coming back to the register. I told her I really needed to go and that she hadn’t been attentive to me at all. Her response was “I’m the only server here and I’m drunk.” She also told me that she had kids at home amd would rather be there with them. I told her if she hated her job she should go find another one. She then told me that she doesn’t even work for Waffle House. I asked for her name and she said “it doesn’t matter.” She finally told me her name was Sylvia. I was also overcharged for my food and will be disputing the charge with my bank. I will be posting about what happened EVERYWJERE. She needs to be terminated IMMEDIATELY. I’m a store manager and if any of my employees acted like Sylvia they would be without a job.

Overall a good dinner. Basically we went by there because everything is closed past 9:00 p.m. during the week in Madison. So if you’re wanting dinner after 9:00 p.m. This is going to be your place. I will tell you that the employees were very friendly to cook and the waitress. Food was normal for waffle House didn’t have any issues.

Let me just say that this WH is absolutely amazing. We pulled up at 1am on an after work trip from Carolina to Atlanta, and there was a singular man by the name of Al working. He mentioned that the only server they had for the night quit, and that he was all alone. Quite frankly, he was absolutely amazing and took care of us well, and even cooked the fast fast and everything was delicious. I truly hope that he gets a raise or promoted or something because he absolutely deserves it. This was the best trip to a Waffle House we have ever made and we have no regrets. As a server myself, I understand what it’s like to be short staffed, and Mr. Al did not let it phase him and worked hard for us and that’s a rare thing to see these days. I hope he sees my review that he remembers us. Thank you for the great food & amazing service. I hope your days get better.
