Classic Waffle House experience! Before landing here we tried the Waffle House at the Bass Road exit but they were “deep cleaning” so we got back on the highway and stopped here. Our waitress was friendly, our order arrived quickly and it was RIGHT! She brewed up a fresh pot of decaf coffee and took care of small details, like providing a cup full of creamer packages. The cook nailed all the food. A great all around experience.

Usually get good food and service from here but today Alex the cook had such an attitude making my sandwich on a waffle instead of bread. I could literally hear him say he didn’t wanna make it this way like he was the one who paid for it! If ever you don’t want to make something then tell your cashier to refund the customer instead of talking rudely.

I’ve been to a fair share of Waffle Houses, and this was one of the best. The food was excellent for everyone in my party of 6, and that was with them having a full house (we all sat at the bar) and juggling a ton of take out orders. Dude working is the epitome of a fantastic short order cook, he was flying around the grill, calling back orders to confirm, going to people himself to ask questions if his servers were busy, delegating tasks, and STILL managing to carry on fairly normal conversations. His wife was our server and she took fantastic care of us making sure we had what we needed and topping up coffee while handling an entire half of the place for orders AND taking all the take-out orders.

This waffle house was both comfortable and the most off-putting place I’ve ever woken up in. Why so many lights? Why is that kid so active at 10:00 pm? Why is the music so bangin? All in all the same experience I’ve had at every waffle house but with much better service.
