They should be closed! Every time you call, no one answers. Then you pull up to place the order in person and a worker tells you they are not taking orders. But people are inside eating; cook on the grill; workers present, but you are refusing customers?! The next restaurant that needs to be closed is this Waffle House! Not sorry!

This waffle house redeemed the whole district, most of which sucks. They got everything perfectly correct on the cook and service was on point. The manager at this location runs a tight ship and should be the district manager rather than just a single location manager.

They added partitions up, on the back of the booths, which is Cool! I went to the one on Govt St, next to the interstate. This one waitress named Wendy, she must don’t know about the Pandemic or Social Distancing. She was so close to this one couple, that I felt sorry for them. Leaning down on their table, talking to them, I was glad that I didn’t pick her table, I would have asked for another waitress. This is the only reason I gave it 3 stars. “Wendy, we have a Pandemic going on, Please Social Distance yourself from your customers”.

I would give it a better rating if only for one thing… cheese. I ordered an all-star. The meal comes with a hash brown. I wanted cheese on top of it. When I received my plate. I had a chesseless- When I reminded our server that I requested cheese, she remembers that I asked for cheese and went back to the grill. When she comes back, all she did was slap unmelted cheese on my hasbrown. That Waffle House quality. The server asked me if this is good….. why would you ask me that, when we both know IT’S NOT GOOD. Hoping that I would say yes, I reluctantly did. That’s why they get 2 stars.

This is the first time I’ve been to a Waffle House where my waitress was confused. She brought me burnt bacon so I ordered more. My boyfriend ordered toast with his order and he never got it either. We had to wait while we finished our food. By then I didn’t want to just eat bacon by itself. And actually the last Waffle House I went to totally messed up my order in Jacksonville Florida.
