I go to this location usually after work. The tall dike light skin girl is the absolute worst cook last night I ordered hashbrowns and a tbone well done it was hardly that!!!!! Red as hell in the inside. As thin as the meat is how can you not make it right. From this day forward if she’s on the grill I’ll be turning around. Price gouging on to go orders is ridiculous

We ate at the hillcrest location. The line cook messed up our order, twice. Our waitress, Sherry, was extremely nice. The line cook yelled at her twice. We spoke to the operation manager John about it, buy the line cook yelled at her again. This time I spoke directly to the line cook, who tried to grab my plate. At that point my husband stood up and got involved. He refused to have the incorrect order removed from the receipt. It was then made wrong again (I have a serious raw tomato allergy, my throat closes shut) it had raw tomatoes and raw jalapeños thrown all over it. At that point our waitress teared up. We both tried to call corporate, but it was closed on the weekends.

I have been coming here for a long time. This morning I walk in and as soon as you open the doors chairs are blocking it. We scooted around the chairs and proceeded to go to an empty table. That’s when the tall slender lady with her hair in a bun at the grill began to berate me and my friend. She said something about the chairs and note on them which was the first time I even looked at them. She spoke down to me like I was trying 3 year old and said to read. She then said wait over there with everyone else. Mind you there are 6 tables open some dirty and some clean. Employees are stand around. We told her we would just leave as she had and attitude. She achieved her mission of running customers off. I am also sure that it is illegal to obstruct a fire exit with chairs.

From a frequent guest to the Waffle House at Hillcrest and Grelot in Mobile, AL… The service is excellent, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Overall it is always a good experience there -> EXCEPT IT APPEARS the cook staff cannot keep their pants pulled up to their waist line instead of hanging below their butts with their underwear exposed. It is an unsanitary situation, with cooks who cannot pass the 3 year old diaper test. This location cannot seem to get this problem solved even after repeated comments to local and regional management. This kind of defiance and personal hygiene practice from employees must be an acceptable standard of behavior at THIS Waffle House, because I don’t see it at other Waffle House restaurants.
