I was greeting by a friendly waiter but as soon as I started to open my mouth to place my to go order her attitude to change and said that they were short staffed and not taking to go orders. It’s national waffle day like seriously? I would have waited however long for my order bc I am traveling 8hrs to my destination with someone who don’t like to stop multiple time and all I wanted was a waffle and bacon I’m just very disappointed and they need to do better.

Food tastes better when it’s served in a good environment. Tonight I ordered the $5 waffle, eggs, and orange juice special, and they were probably the best waffle, eggs, and orange juice I’ve had for $5 thanks to Mrs. Kathy. She was a breath of fresh air on a dark, chilly Saturday night in the heart of Auburn. Love radiates from that woman. We chatted it up for quite a long time, and you could tell how much she cares about those around her.

The waitress asked if my order was to go I said yes. She told me to go ahead and place my order during the process another co-worker I thought u said we were not doing to go orders today. The waitress oh yeah I forgot ma’am I’m the only waitress today sorry I’m not doing to go orders today. I will not be going back to another Waffle House this is one of the stupidest things I ever heard. I can understand if I was trying to call in order but I’m at your place of business in person and you going to deny me service.

Laziest people that I have ever seen. Not just this Waffle house but most all of them. I work on the road and I have to call in orders at restaurants because I don’t have time to set in a restaurant waiting on an order. I call the awful Waffle and they tell me that they can not take a call in order because It is a courtesy to the customers that are dining in. So I drive up there and there’s 4 customers! Humm! Lazy people!

I have been eating at this Waffle House for years. It’s convenient location but they seem to be having problems lately. Twice lately they were closed to dine-in. The day shift staff were terrible the last time we ate there. Basically no service. The evening staff were better. I think it’s time to look for a new place to eat.
