Oh how I wish the city I live in had a Waffle House. This is by far the best diner I have ever been to. I love the hospitality and being able to see my food being made. We had much fun playing music on the jukebox, and the food is just to die for. Not to mention, the prices are so good! Would recommend !

Well to start off was there 09/18/19 @ 5 pm when we pulled up to the restaurant there was no one there. No customers. We sat down and then the cook came in and took our order. There was a waitress but she was asleep over in the corner in a booth. The cook was very apologetic and said she has been there just like that when she came in.

Waffle House on 153 is much better than this location. Staff wants to chat and gossip more than pay attention to the food they are making. I’ve given them a few tries just to see how consistency goes, and food is always over cooked/burnt/etc., drinks take forever to get refilled, the staff is friendly they’ve never been rude; I’ve just been to much better Waffle Houses before.

The server sat on her rear end while there was plenty of people that needed their order taken. When we first pulled in the parking lot she was out side sitting on the ground smoking. After she returned inside she sat down and didn’t help anyone. Her apperence didn’t look clean as well. The cook however tried his best to take everyone’s order and make their food. He was friendly. And I made sure the tip left went to him. Because the server didn’t even deserve to have a job.

I work very early and have only been here during 3rd and 1st shift. 3rd shift is the best. Very friendly. They make you feel welcome. The first shift women are aweful. Just plain rude! They act like you’re bothering them being there… And thats IF they’re not standing outside smoking. Can’t believe any manager would allow these girls to represent their restaurant. I won’t be back there, But wish I had a position open for that third shift girl!
