Thank God for Mr. Dean, the cook. We slipped him most of the tip because the waitress on night shift couldn’t get out of her own way. Dean took our order, delivered our food, and was great. This all happened while we debated with the waitress if we wanted plastic or silverware, or if we thought the coffee was too old before she had even poured it!!! (How would we know)

A 3am trip to Waffle House, Ms.Lisa was the most wonderful person ever!! Amazing service very friendly. I would most definitely come back to this Waffle House! It’s a Waffle House. Service is always the same, overall pretty good. This particular location was consistently busy on our super late Friday night visit. We chose to eat breakfast. They grilled a chicken breast for me since I do not eat pork. It was cooked well. I wish they offered turkey or chicken sausage. Oh, well. Those waffle irons, though!! So hard to look at them….they are always a mess!!!

They charge a “to go” fee of 20% even though you don’t have a choice except to get your food to go. Just know if you go when the inside is closed and you have to order at the window you are already giving them a 10% tip and being charged a 10% to go fee.

I was just in Waffle House on Hacks Cross round 530 am. The waiter told me I can’t take to go only dine in. Okay so I said I’m going to dine in. Then he took my order and just basically was like if you put it to go I will have to charge you to go. Then another guy was like you just can’t do that you will have to eat majority of your food here. So basically they refused to serve me told me that I can drive to another Waffle House. There was two other people in the whole restaurant. The whole restaurant was not clean every table was dirty. How they telling me to dine in but won’t clean or make a table available. The whole situation was absurd. I have never experienced anything like that.
