This was my kids first Waffle House experience and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious as always but of course you don’t expect top notch service, but I will give them props they did try. It was a bit busy for a Thursday. It was a typical Waffle House experience and atmosphere with a lot of moving and shaking. Being from the south and growing up on Waffle House they can do no wrong in my book.

Well….walking in to this Waffle House (group of 4 adults) we were amazed at all the tables were dirty and not bused when the last customers left…. One employee greeted us and said where would you like to sit so we can clean that area for you…. So we choose to sit at the bar type area at the end of the kitchen. The waitress was very nice and apologetic in how ALL the tables were dirty. Took our drink/food order. The food came out in a reasonable time and was cooked perfect as ordered. So that’s the only reason I gave it two stars.

Service was awesome, food was hot and delicious, coffee was delicious, but it was as hot inside as it is outside. We’re having record high temperatures and people are dying. Please for the love of God turn on the AC. I can’t imagine how hard it is to slave in a hot kitchen with no AC.

Staff was friendly, doors were decent, tables were half wiped down. The kitchen seemed a little rough, not gonna lie. The food was not the best, and eggs were cold. But coffee was hot and it was better than eating from chow hall at jcop hairatan.

My name is Shawn Wallace and I was at your restaurant the early morning around 3:54-4:15 am on July 10, 2021. I ordered a steak and bacon Texas cheese melt with smothered covered chunk hash browns. When i got home and open up my food I was lost for words. The sandwich was so burnt that I couldn’t believe it was steak! All I seen was bacon. I took a bite only because I had to take some meds. It not only look horrible but tasted horrible as well. I didn’t even touch the hash browns because it was supposed to be a full meal. I am very very dissatisfied. I took pictures of the food and trashed most of the sandwich before realizing I should contact you and I tried calling your restaurant but the operator came on a said their not taking any food orders over the phone and that I needed to come in. I live off Hwy 49 near Saucier and I wasn’t coming back that way right then. I feel as tho my order should be replaced.

This was the worst experience at a Waffle House. I understand that it was just one cook and one waitress and I have patience. We sat there for 20 minutes with no proper greet other than it’s gonna be a minute. She purposely did not come back to the table. I saw her refill several drinks and socializing before coming to the table. We decided to leave and the next couple that came behind us was attended to the minute they walked in after we left . I have been a Waffle House waitress before and I would never be able to get away with doing customers like that.
