I work the night shifts through the weekends and my wife works mornings so after a long day sometimes I’m just like screw it let’s hit the Waffle House and whenever Freddie is there EVERYTHING is perfect and we never mind the wait because his service and the food is phenomenal ☑️ we appreciate that

The food is very good and there are a decent variety of choices. The servers are usually pretty friendly and have a good energy but not every time I’ve visited. The atmosphere is the usual Waffle House atmosphere and of course depends a lot on when you go and the time of day or night. It is open 24/7 which is always great. But the fact that they no longer take call in orders or even answer the phone at all is very disappointing and is the reason for my three star rating.

I forgot to leave a review from a couple years ago but if you want food poisoning eat here. Shortly before the pandemic they had a little old man cooking and he would touch raw hamburger, raw bacon etc and then touch the lettuce, and other sandwich fixings without washing his hands. Then argued with my wife and I when we called him out on it. We paid for our drinks and left and never returned. He refused to admit he did anything wrong. You don’t touch raw meat and then touch other foods that will not be cooked before washing your hands. We contacted the company they didn’t care. Hopefully he no longer works there because this is disgusting and a good way to make people sick! It’s common sense and if he were trained properly he would know about food safety. Pay attention when they’re cooking and handling your food!
