UPDATE: 6/28/23 the one consistent complaint I have is the fact that they always have lumpy grits. I’ve been going to waffle house for over 30 years and they’ve always served lumpy grits. It’s SOOOO easy to make grits without lumps yet that’s never the case at WH.

Smaller than usual so be patient waiting for a seat. The morning staff (11am), are wonderful. The are perfectly in sync, fast service and very friendly. Food was made to perfect and they did a great job keeping everything clean.

Food was good and prepared as ordered. Server was super friendly to us and another customer that came in. However, every table, booth, and bar seat was dirty and had dirty dishes and spilled food. I selected the one spot that had the smallest mess. It was cleaned after I sat down. While I had the full attention of the server while I was dining, not much was done to clean up the tables or bar seats. After my meal was prepared, the cook was busy cleaning floors. Makes me wonder how busy they had been before I arrived.

The waitresses are slow and she gave me the wrong bill, and I had to pay for someone else bill. Can’t argue in Delhi with a white waitresses unless your white. Cooks where GREAT, but the waitresses where all bad.

The bathrooms smelled absolutely awful, comparable to wet dog smell. The restaurant itself was clean however the atmosphere seemed tense. I dont think the current manager is fit to fill his position. All in all I’m sure they have their good days. However in order to improve the waffle house reputation and business the management team itself needs to be reworked. It’s not just delhi.. it’s most of the waffle house franchise.

The waiter was incredibly polite and his mood for 330-430 am was very cheerful and welcoming. We all got all star specials except one who got it without the waffle. Great service, food was cooked perfectly and everything was right.

This spot has gone downhill fast. The service is atrocious. You can stand in line waiting for a table for 15 minutes while the “servers” sit there and gab with their friends and coworkers instead of busing tables or seating folks. Then when you sit down, forget about getting your drink filled. I sat there eating the ice cubes out of my glass for 10 minutes and not one server asked me if I needed a refill.
