Had great service when I went to this waffle today. Cra was our server and did an amazing job. The cook came over and talked to us and was so nice. Great experience. I love the Waffle House!!

Stopped by to get some food, sat down at the counter. There was 3 people working and everyone just ignored me. Didn’t tell me they would be right with me or any acknowledgement at all. The restaurant was almost empty as well. One customer waiting to pay. I waited for awhile and just left. Photo of one customer waiting to pay and an empty restaurant.

We have attempted to come into this Waffle House not once, not twice, but 3 times with only ONE successful outing! The first time we went it was about 11:30 at night (right before the drunk crowd rush), we walked in where there were plenty of tables to sit at, and they told us immediately there would be at least a 45 minute wait….I’m sorry what?! It’s breakfast foods?! Nevertheless we gave them a second chance! This was a success! Cameron or Carmen (I’m sorry I don’t remember her name exactly ) but she was was amazing!! Exactly why we were so happy to give them a third chance. That’s where tonight took place. We saw a restaurant full of people as we pulled up ourselves to eat, park the car, get out and walk to the door and it’s locked…..I looked for a sign for hours on the door (there isn’t one), so we resorted to google, which said they were open, to I knocked on the door and whoever was working behind the counter, waved us off like we were nothing! We will never be back to a Waffle House after this. Too many bad experiences in a VERY VERY SHORT TIME of being open! I hope the owner of this location reads this and hires some employees that actually want to work and make money!!

So excited to have a waffle house close to home. Been there a few times now and have had excellent service and amazing food each time. By the looks of it, the bad experiences people have had were unfortunate isolated events that I feel have been sorted out. Opening a new location with brand new staff will always have some kinks to work out. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Dust time eating here since they opened, unfortunately the only thing done was the bacon. Was not busy when arrived but feel food was not cooked fully as if they were in a hurry. I have been to Waffle House several times and one thing I always look forward to is the crunchy hashbrowns. It is a new Waffle House so possibly staff are still learning. Service was good and friendly.

Went on opening day. My family had been watching it be built from the time they broke ground. Being locals we have been very excited for Waffle House to open and be part of the Belmont community. We were happy to see the cleanliness of the place, which is to be expected of a new building. The staff was friendly & motivated. Most importantly, the food was really good. The hashbrowns were spot on. The eggs were cooked to perfection. The sausage actually had a lot of flavor and the waffles were not burned and had that Waffle House perfection. So, the cooks were cooking with care. Nothing was lathered in grease. If they keep this up from opening day and keep this consistency, they will have a large base of regulars and make a lot of money.

Saturday morning was hopping, and the 10 (!) team members on duty were making it happen. Carlene is training this new staff right!

This Waffle House has consistently been my worse WH experience in the Dayton area.

We love Waffle House & was happy to have a location that was close to us. We decided to stop by there today aout 2:30 pm. Not too busy with only a few tables inside. We sat down at an empty booth & waited for our server. We had only waited a few minutes when someone came over with our silverware & apologized for our wait even though we hadn’t waited long & asked if we were ready to order. She was very polite took our order for both our food & drinks. This is where it went downhill. After she walked away from taking the order she never returned to our table with our drinks or even seemed to look back at our general direction. We waited & waited some more as customers came in several minutes after us receiving their drinks & one table had even gotten their food that arrived at least 15 minutes after we did. One other server did come over to ask us if we had been helped which technically we had been but that was the only interaction with any staff we had. About the 25 minute mark with no drinks or food we heard our server finally call back to the kitchen for our order after realizing she had totally forgotten us. We just got up & left. I understand things happen but we were 1 of 6 tables there. Kinda hard to forget us. No real reason to go here when the location across from the greene has never given us any problems.
