What in the heck is this place! I pull up and someone’s getting arrested in the parking lot. Then there’s an employee sitting outside the front door in a chair smoking a cigarette. The kitchen was a whole hot mess and dirty. The service was just okay.

Years ago I’ve written off waffle House because of food issues and service issues. But I must say I will be back Alexander was the friendliest most courteous cook I’ve ever seen in a waffle House. Walked straight in to the high top to be seated. Waited 30 min watching the cooks. No one even asked if I wanted something to drink. I finally asked for a Coke. Then 5 min later the young lady yells across the cooking area that the Coke would be $2.50, but it was already gone. Cool. No problem. One cook had a full grill while the other had a stack of bacon on the other empty grill. BTW he was cooking with no gloves while scratching his ears and head and playing with his phone! So he graciously started helping the cook who was actually working. He flipped some eggs but not perfectly so he righted the wrong with his ungloved figures. Then he decided he was closing down and walked over to lock the door only to return to the grill with no gloves.

The waitress was the best part..my bacon chicken melt , bacon BURNT. Hash browns tasted like onions & my hubbys egg over easy had that dry crusty stuff n bacon was overcooked. Not worth $40. We ate it BC we didn’t eat for 2 days.

Wafflehouse is a must after a night of fun. Well this night they somewhat failed me. We were a table of four and I ordered a 2 eggs plate over medium with double hash. As simple as my order was, it was forgotten and I had to wait 4-5 minutes after my husband and friends food arrived. Once received the eggs were over cooked, no runny yolk.
