Server helped me make my decision on food and was prepared fast and hot with everything being great couldn’t ask for faster friendlier service. Cleanest facility I’ve been to in a long time. Wish half of my other stops along the way could come close to comparing to this waffle house in Hammond la. Again don’t take my word for it stop on by and see for yourself. Better than the best service food and overall great experience.

Early morning on April 20th in a college town .You know it’s going to be a busy day at Waffle House! The store was manned by a single server and a fry cook. Even though they were understaffed, server Stacey kept the coffee flowing and made sure the eggs were cooked to order, all with generous servings of happy chatter and southern charm!

This location thinks over-easy is over-medium, and sunny-side-up is over easy. Was told this multiple times and only at this location. It’s a small thing, but having a place that specializes is breakfast not know the difference in egg styles is a bit odd. Seems as though they are trained this way here.

For the first time in my life, i witnessed a “closed” waffle house. Im using “closed” loosly here due to the fact that it was not in fact closed. More along the lines of them locking the door and the woman giving us the “cut it” gesture and shaking her head “no” while we stand outside in confusion to a locked waffle house door with plenty of staff. But in fact they told us they would not serve us, so our time and gas was waisted because we relied on a place that stays open for Christmas and other national holidays to be open on a Tuesday in april. So in all, i recommend not visiting this location because they may decide to just not serve guests because they dont feel like it. thank you though for what i imagine will be a once in a lifetime experience.. a “closed” waffle house.

They’re a good as your instructions for your order. I get 5 star results when i specify how i want each item cooked specifically. Good people overall; i nah, it’s Waffle House, what did you expect? For years, people have said, “the dirtier the Waffle House, the better the food is going to be.” That quote alone should have you taper your expectations lol.
