the same thing always happens! on weekends at breakfast time there are few employees to serve and attend to the customer. Worst of all, they keep you waiting and they can’t even look at you and tell you to wait a moment. or at least ask if you want to eat there or take away. Why doesn’t the manager of the place take care of having more employees at times when people crowd? It’s a shame and a pity because their food is delicious. but the staff that work there are mostly not. I do not recommend going at all. better go to other places where customers are treated better.

Staff is friendly and quick. Food is delicious and plentiful. Can’t go wrong at this Waffle House with pretty much any choice on the menu. Personally, when I’m feeling like breakfast, I go with the All-American with hashbrowns scattered, covered and topped. Otherwise, the Texas Patty Melt does the trick 🙂

This is the best waffle house in all Lafayette. The food is always on point! The cooks/servers are always helpful, friendly and get your order taken and expedited with accuracy and haste. This location is always clean and a welcoming atmosphere! I’m never disappointed when I choose to eat at the waffle house on university Ave. In my opinion definitely the best waffle house in the Lafayette area!!!!

I wouldn’t even give this experience this if I didn’t have to.Everything this cook made us was burnt!! The place was empty we were the only customers!!! We told the waitress,she walked away got on the phone and finally came back when we were ready to leave and said she called her boss he said that he would make him remake it, we were done at that point and she still charged us for all the food. We won’t be going back!!! IHOP is just down the street!!!!

The older white lady was not friendly. I tipped her good and she didn’t even thank me. She could not remember the drink I was drinking and the restaurant was super slow. Also I didn’t get my onions with my hashbrowns. Terrible

While sitting in front of the waffle machine one employee had a container of clumped up batter then dropped it on the floor. He then proceeded to pick up the container and poured batter into the top two batter machines. Then semi cleaned up the spilt batter off the floor. I watched as the employees just walked in and around the mess. After about 10 minutes hot water got poured over the mess. Not one time did it get mopped up. I told our waitress about what had taken place. She tried telling the head cook but he chose to blow her off so then I tried to tell him needless to say that didn’t go very well either. I think the customer that ordered waffles should have been told his waffles was contaminated with floor scum.
