$11.75 for 2 scrambled eggs, chopped bacon, chopped sausage, and nasty cheese in a small bowl is ridiculously pricey. No drink, no potatoes, no toast. I will not be back. I was kind of excited to visit, haven’t been to a waffle house in 20 years. I will not pay that ridiculous price for a simple keto bowl.

No need to dress this up. Waffle House on Monkhouse is not the best location. Staff is adequate, but unskilled, and oblivious. Frequent vulgarity in their conversations. Coffee was Ice cold, and I requested an extra crispy Waffle that came to me barely cooked. Staff ignored me and were heavily involved in their own conversations. Not going back.

Came from Sunnyvale, Texas to visit Shreveport and stopped to eat breakfast. This place was GREAT!!! Staff was very friendly, happy and a MATURE group. Not many youngsters messing over your food. Trust me it makes a difference. These are ppl with real bills, not living w/ Momma and Daddy. Doing it right to get those tips. It feels good when the staff greets you in an up beat manner. Very rare at most restaurants. The food was exceptional. My hubby have them a big tip for the kindness and the grits lol. He loved those grits. I loved the coffee and food. Would recommend anybody to stop at the Waffle House on Monkhouse, you will not be disappointed. Sunday Morning Deliciousness!! ☀️☀️

As a traveler, I’ve traveled through many states, and I have to say this particular restaurant was the worst. We sat there for over 15 minutes and they did not bring us silverware. And they didn’t bring us anything to drink and they never did take our order.. so we walked out and left. Very disappointing. We watched a waitress flag down a gentleman who walked in and then she to cater to him as we sat there with nothing. Then they decided to be funny by saying “Have a nice Day“ when they knew good and well they didn’t even acknowledge us. They thought it was funny.
