The Ramblin Road
We were a party of three. We were promptly greeted and seated. Our server was relatively new to Waffle House, but was on top of things. My grandson said this was the best Texas Bacon Egg and Cheese Melt he had ever had. I enjoyed my Cheesestake melt bowl.

Friendly (overnight) staff! Food was better than I remember! And a novelty (since I hadn’t been to a Waffle House in a long time) was finding out that their prices included sales tax! It was a quite nice not having to do the extra math in my head, trying to remember exactly what the local/state tax is, am I on which side of the Arkansas/Texas boarder… ya know, the usual! Also: always get the hashbrowns! Nothing better!!!

Food was great, just the building was older and looked kinda dirty. Service was slow even though only 2 people was in there before we got there. I thought you could get a plate of waffles, but u have to pay for individual waffles at $5 each if thats all u want. I only seen 1 choice option the had a single waffle in it.

This particular Waffle House is so pleasing. The crew were all cheerful, laughing and smiling. They all greeted you at the door upon entering and leaving. I watched them as they pecked out orders to the chef. I was very impressed how ALL of them worked as a team. Our waitress (Karen) approached us with a smile as she asked us what we wanted to drink and then if we were ready to order. I wish the WH where we live had the same attitude.

Waitress put up with the manager being an absolute unprofessional egotistical power tripping meany! If she is going to work the line in front of customers, she needs to deal with the employees PROFESSIONALLY! Our waitress was the ONLY reason we stayed, she dealt with the whole ordeal professionally and worked hard to get our order right.

Service was great and the place was super clean. My ONLY complaint is how cold it was in there. Besides us freezing to near death our food cooled off way too quick. That’s why the 4 ⭐ for the food. Other than that, a really great visit.
