Steak nachos were good, but not enough steak added for the price. White rice a bit dry and shrimp taco overpriced. The tortilla was store bought. Fell apart after one bite. Requires were good tho.

We used to come here many years ago – it was one of our favorite lunch spot. Then we moved and almost forgot about the place. Today we had lunch here and guess what – the place is still amazing.

Don’t know what’s up with Wahoo’s and always getting your order wrong. It’s all locations it seems like or this one is especially bad. Even when I order straight off the menu with zero additions or substitutions they still manage to mess up my food. I work in the area and was taking my lunch here a few times a week. Very rarely did I get my food without any issues.

The food here at this location is so fresh and tasty! I like how big this location is with many seating options. Service has been great each time I visit and food is served with a smile. I dont mind driving a few more miles to go to this Wahoos.

Love their Wahoo teriyaki steak over rice! The meat is tender, flavorful and eatable. There’s never enough teriyaki sauce, but they were generous on giving me extra when asked. Overall a good experience. Service was great!

My all time favorite since 1988. I still eat at any of their locations I can every chance I get. Which unfortunately isn’t very often anymore since I no longer live southern CA. Besides the fact that their food is all delicious, especially my favorites, the carnitas soft tacos and the blackened fish soft tacos and I can’t forget the spicy white beans (that are actually brown in color) and the lime rice, all the best, regardless of which location in CA i’ve been too the food is CONSISTENT! which is not true with many establishments that have more than one location.

I’m not sure why restaurants always try to hide a bad avocado in a sushi roll or in this case have the good side up. I didn’t see this until I turned over the avocado. This just shows that they think this is edible and disregarded the blackened avocado threads. Otherwise, food is decent but makes me wonder what else they try to serve.

When I’m near a Wahoo’s I try to stop by because they closed all the San Diego locations… My go to is the 2 fish enchilada plate with green sauce and beans/rice. Unfortunately, this last time the fish was a bit too overcooked making it a bit dry…

Wahoo’s is a family restaurant and a tradition but not only this, it is in fact an institution. Thank you to the fine people here who go above and beyond to provide a good place to eat. We enjoyed the 2 taco combo plate, a tortilla soup with rice in it, and a pair of tofu and veggie banzai bowls respectively (vegan approved!) If management or corporate is reading this, a reward for the workers is needed, they do the most when it comes to customer satisfaction and provided us with extra care always.
