We went here for my dad’s birthday and it did not disappoint!!! I had the red fish pontchartrain and it was honestly a 10/10. The wine sauce was so decadent and there was lump crab and shrimp on top. We had crab-cakes for an appetizer and goodness those were amazing too. We wanted seafood next to where my dad lives so we tried this place out on a whim, not expecting anything special but WOW the staff and food was unbelievable. This was such a nice surprise! We were wanting dinner and we’re on our way to our air b&b and saw this resturant and I’m so glad we stopped in. Great and friendly service! The gator appetizer was seriously probably the best gator we’ve ever had. My Catfish & Oysters was excellent and my husband said his Mahi was awesome. The food is great! The key lime pie is so good it has the right amount of lime and sweet and it’s so silky smooth. Overall this place was so good and budget friendly as well. We’ll be definitely stopping here on our way out of Kerville! Highly recommended!

After a short wait I got a booth. Order the shrimp boil and six raw oysters off the appetizer menu and added red beans and rice and stewed ochre ala carte. All outstanding! Service was great, very polite and friendly, but I did have one disappointment. They only had Diet Coke instead of the MUCH better Coke Zero. What’s with that, Wahoo? Room for improvement. Your food saved your 5-Star review. The only thing you could do worse than Diet Coke is to serve Pepsi. Don’t even think about it.

I took my 89 year old dad there tonight for Father’s Day and it took an hour & 15 mins to get our food. I tried the red fish that was feature as their special on the board but had no idea it was $39.00 until the ticket arrived. The most expensive thing on the menu was $25 so I assuming it would be $25 or less. We won’t be going back.
