Friendly staff. It took a long time to check diners in during breakfast- somehow printing up a list of rooms with special details and charging privileges like other hotels wasn’t possible. Hawai’ian Music Camp and groups may have stretched staffing levels.

Based on the guide provided, this café is the only place to get breakfast and dinner at the Outrigger Kona Resort and Spa. Although this is a resort, depending on where you are seated and the daily temperature, you may need to dress warmly. The food are pretty good, especially the pizza(s). The only issue is the timing of the waiters/waitresses. I understand that the café is crowded at times and will cause delays. However, there are times where the servers would go and focus on one area and not approach or check in on our tables.

My family of four ate breakfast here during our stay at the resort last year. We did not have a reservation and waited maybe five minutes for a table, then ordered. The food came out pretty quickly.

We spent a week here for my sister wedding. Breakfast was delicious everyday and staff was always friendly and quick. Celeste was always a joy to chat with while getting morning coffee. Can’t wait for our next trip!

Two days in a row, breakfast was terrible. Cold rubbery eggs, bacon floating in greasy water, and incredibly bitter coffee. Pastries were stale. I guess they don’t care since it’s the only place at the resort to eat. Very disappointing

Open and airy setting to have breakfast, lunch and dinner poolside. There is also a bar with specialty cocktails and wine and beer. Most evenings there’s live music which is basically a guy with a guitar but is talented.

We celebrated our honeymoon here and had absolute best service (not just since we’ve been on the island but as far back as we can remember). We arrived and our table was already set with beautiful flowers sprinkled on the table, right in front of the musician who played us love songs. Our waitress, Tracey-Ann was phenomenal and her uplifting spirit made us smile the entire time. Thank you guys so much for making our evening so special! Mahalo!

The staff was very nice but the drinks are not good at all. At least not the frozen drinks. You would think that at 16 dollars a piece they could afford better mixes. They tasted like slightly flavored ice.

The food and service are excellent. It is not a luxurious place, but it is pleasant with beautiful sea views.
