I live in Seneca and was looking for some African food and Wakanda Bar is the closest I could find. It was a good find. I got the jollof rice with fried goat to eat in and some peanut soup with fufu to take home. Both dishes were tasty. The restaurant is pretty good sized so getting a table was easy. The server was very pleasant and helpful. I got there right after they opened so I did have a bit of a wait but I was ok with it. They had some jazz music playing in the background and there was a guy decorating some tables for a birthday party. Good food, good vibes. It’s a bit of a trek but next time I’m in the mood for African I’ll have no problem making the drive.

My friend and I went on a Sunday around 1245pm. We walked in unsure of what to do, it was a seat yourself, but In order to find that out I had to walk to an employee and ask. There were only two other tables occupied at that time so we sat and waited 10 min before getting a menu, the guy was more interested in his phone and the TV. Finally he came over got our waters and after another 10 min finally got our order. It was my first time trying this kind of food, so I was completely lost & ended up googling the menu as we couldn’t get service. The cook, a woman from the back ended up taking over, she was better than the guy but she only brought our food out and cashed us out. So def 1 star in service. **Take note I had jerk chicken and it has small bones throughout the meat. Im not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be or what, just be careful with that. My friend ordered the oxtail plate, which was pretty good & we had the peanut butter soup with fufu. Very peanut buttery, but if that’s your thing, you should like it . Overall I’d say 6/10, I was looking for a new experience and that’s what I got just wish the service had been better

This is a great little mom & pop business. We visited during lunch. The food was hot and delicious! It was authentic. We will return to taste additional dishes. We wanted the okra soup but they didn’t have it that day. We also wanted dessert as their menu online advertised pound cake cheesecake and but they didn’t have that either. The atmosphere is not extravagant, but it is clean (most important) and I could tell that it will be a great little spot on the weekends with the music. We will definitely return to experience the evening ambience!

The food is overpriced for the portion size. I paid almost 20$ for two small, half filled containers. Portions so small I thought someone else ate from the food. Will not be going here again. The flavor was ok but not worth the price.

We forgot to take pictures before we started eating. The restaurant and service was impeccable!! I would highly recommend. When u walk in, u receive a warm welcome. Our server Pedro was amazing and very soft spoken. The food was 10/10. The place was clean and the ambiance was great. I would highly recommend this place if u visit Greenville
