I’ve always been super impressed with their service! It’s so hard to choose what to eat, which is AMAZING! it’s one of the few restaurants around that make quality food, have a quality view of the lake, and also have so many options to choose from! The food was SO good! It was very busy when we went, but they did amazing. Their walleye is the freshest around. I haven’t had any fish taste so good! Thank you, Wakeside, for your excellent service!

Really really really racist ! Really freaking racist. Cuban, Mexican, Dominican, Jamaican, darker skin. They will treat you how they feel you are. Speak on it !!? You’re rude. Aside from the in town regulars. If you visiting the lake don’t grab a bite here. Please don’t !!!! I really hope their phone calls is voice recorded “ for quality purposes. This place is extremely horrible for colors or minorities. I called & simply ask for names for this review. They chose to argue & deny names. I’m Jamaican, very dark skin. I have tattoos. I had my service denied twice TODAY ! 06/15/2023. After the first time being denied, I asked a woman who was working as a server between 5-7 pm, 06/15/2023, completely denied our service when I asked this must be a racist place I’m America after the first time we was denied. Came back in & was heading towards our table, before I asked my recent comment, “this must be a racist place”. She got very hostile and kicked me and two other ladies out before our table. Saying “we can’t serve you”. This behavior must be accepted in rural towns

Nice place. Terrible food 1st apps came out over cooked did they offer to do anything….. no then waiting over an hour for our food guess what again overcooked…offered to take care of one meal not the other and not the other food highly disappointed not sure if it was the manager or what but they gave us a free drink chip but still a couple 100 dollar bill… 1st time here and it’s the last time… we live in town and just came back from black hills decided to spend money in our community guess it was a mistake.

Need a great escape from the everyday run around in town? Head on out to Wakeside. The service is excellent and top notch. The food….you just might surprise yourself with something amazing! Looking for just a night cap, well you can take in the beauty of the lake and calm of being out doors as you enjoy a table on the patio or even better around the fire pit. Drive in or float in. Either way you’ll have a blast!
