As we walked in, only 3 guys waited at a table for their food. There was a guy at the register. It probably took him a few minutes to look up and recognize us. No big deal because we really wanted to try their tacos. My husband got the 3 beef tacos, and I ordered the Mahi fish tacos. Then I noticed the vegan hibiscus tacos. As he had already placed my order, the guy heard my excitement about the vegan one. He was kind enough to offer to replace one of my fish tacos with a vegan one. We sat at a table and waited, not long. As we waited, I noticed a lady walk in and then walk out. She seemed upset that the fellow at the register did not greet her or even look up. Same as when we walked in. He brought our food to us. Along with a 2 different sauces. The sauce was just meh, and I could do better. My fish tacos were supposed to come with red onions on top. I don’t know how they made their onions, but it looked like tuns fish clumped up and had no taste. The vegan taco with good, although I would have added some toppings, as it just came with the hibiscus flower that was in some kind of sauce. I do not believe they make the hibiscus flower, tasted pre-made, and prepackaged. My husband ate his tacos and stated they were nothing to write home about. I don’t think I am missing anything by not going back. Life is too short to waste time eating tacos that are just mediocre.

The picture looks way better than it tastes. Don’t let the food description on the menu fool you with the nachos either. It’s not real queso. This was pretty disappointing and feels like I wasted my money.

When I’m at Hourglass Brewing, this place is convenient as they deliver inside the brewery. My main issue is that they are pretty much the brewery, as the brewery’s audio leaks in from the open doorway. Solid tacos and similar – like Tijuana Flats, but with better food – I recommend the birria. Definitely have the salsa, mild is tasty pineapple and hot is delightful. Consider ordering a little extra; portions are good but might leave you wanting more!.

Love the burrito , very tasty and well seasoned . The spices on point . The Waco taco with the jalapeño popper , not so much . The chocolate taco was delicious. Overall I would recommend.

Went here well having craft beers at Hourglass brewery next door. Steak tacos were very good. Reasonably priced and fast service! Will definitely go here again!

Just… not very good. My wife and I spent $35 here for dinner (including tip) and just feel like we wasted our money. I got the tacos which were extremely bland and the “pico” is just a big pile of tomato. My wife’s corn tortillas felt like they just came out of the fridge and her tacos were cold. Comes with 2 sauces which are both pretty bad. Left hungry.

Honest Review
We tried 3 different things on their menu, each with different meats. The steak was okay, the pork was decent, but the chicken was god awful. The chicken tasted like mildly season canned chicken or microwaved Tyson’s. Everything was made fresh to order and the prices were average. Some other things that rubbed me the wrong way was the fact that they use mozzarella for Mexican food. Also, their chimichangas are only stuffed with rice and cheese then piled high with the meats and sauces. It just wasn’t my cup of tea but I have always heard and read good things about this place. Found myself not wanting to finish any of my food and left there dissatisfied. I did however like their queso made with beer. But it’s more like beer cheese than queso.

So disappointing. The “street corn” came in a cup and tasted canned. Fish taco had coleslaw that resembled pink vomit. And canned mandarins. Just odd. The hot sauce and guava hot sauce were okay but not enough to make me come here again. We tried this over chipotle or Tijuana and regretted it :/

I ordered crunchy tacos to go. Took them 4 minutes down the road and opened the box as soon as I got back to work. The shells were completely soggy and fell apart and the ground beef was cold. When I called to let them know I was told that the shells will get soggy because of the wet ingredients!!?? Why offer crunchy tacos if they don’t stay crunchy for even long enough to sit down to eat?? They did offer a refund but offered more excuses than anything.
