If you ever talk to the owner, john is a great guy and always a pleasure to talk to. I’ve known him since i was in highschool and he always cared about his customers. The wings are amazing and the pizza is pretty great too. The wings are nice and crunchy and hot too, not too spicy. But they are made fresh and hot for every order, so its nice and hot every time.

Everything is overpriced, 7.50 for 6 cheese sticks? 14 dollars for a small Cheese pizza? 4.59$ for French fries? Can literally get 2+ whole pizzas at little cesars for that and youd be more satisfied trust me. The only affordable thing is slices, and the slices aren’t that big and the price has gone up apparently, because its not 4$ like the other reviews have said and i got no free drink with it. I did get some attitude for asking for a fresh slice, instead of one thats been sitting under the lights though. Can get 2 slices bigger than, and better tasting for only a dollar more at Salernos, AND they give you free drink. And the pizza sauce was like straight up out of a can of spaghetti -os. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I don’t know if it’s just this location, or if they were having a bad day when I came, but it put me off for good.

The pizza slices are good. However, I do not like/do not appreciate how the older guy with the glasses and dark brown hair (who typically is at the register) looks at me and talks to me. I’ve been here quite a few times and he has said/done insulting things to me. He’s asked me if my curly hair is real (which seems racist in my opinion), squints his eyes and looks at me as if I’m weird when I’m ordering, and just gives an overall judgmental vibe when he talks to me. He also punched my arm in “a playful” way another time I went there, which hurted and I did not like that because it was rude and I did not want him to touch me in the first place. He had no right to put his hands on me. I will not be returning. I think he’s rude, overbearing, and disrespectful. Very disappointing.

Worst experience ever. My brother ordered pizza from this place and they delivered to the wrong house! Spent $75 so someone else could eat our food. Driver never called to verify. And when my brother calls back to this place… they “can’t do anything because it’s already delivered”. Like what the hell. Be responsible enough to at least refund money or send another pizza. I would rate 0

Waldo Cooney’s in Berwyn is GREAT! Pizza tastes soooo good. They always get my order right and are very accommodating. I have never been disappointed. The reason for the review is the excellent customer service. A family type of vibe. They are always so kind when I go there and for that I will always remain a loyal customer.

Pizza is good and wings are delicious….but service has gone downhill. I have been a customer for years and today was an all around service fail. First, the driver called me 3 times to say that he was at the door and nobody was answering. I was on the porch and he was nowhere in sight and his attitude was rude. Second, I called to make note that I did not receive my 1 liter of pop that is advertised on the menus as a freebie with a larger pizza. The guy that answered the phone said that since Tuesdays is discount pizza day, no pop is given with orders. This is new to me because over the years I have never had this happen or heard of it. Third, I ordered chicken wings and they failed to send the ranch dressing that I specifically requested when ordering. I did not bother to call back and risk being told that since it’s discount pizza day, dressing is not included. Not sure if there are new owners? But I will not be ordering or recommending anytime soon.

Above exceptional service and experience. I ordered catering for 30ppl and I believe we received much more than this. Everything was very fresh and delicious. John, Lou, sorry names slipped me, but all wonderful family oriented people to deal with. Food came on time and very hot, driver was very nice and accommodating, helped set up and get us going.

I was walking, feeling hungry, saw “Pizza by the Slice”, so I decided to check it out. It’s pretty small inside, not a lot of seating. Friendly dude at the counter said it’s buy 1 get 1 free on Thursday’s, so I got 2 slices of sausage. Pretty big slices! The pizza was good, just not very fresh. You could tell it had been in the warmer for a while. Honestly I’ll probably come back and try again on another Thursday. It was a little less than $4 for two big slices. Can’t really beat that price!
