This was the messiest chicken sandwich I’ve ever eaten. This was also the best spicy chicken sandwich I’ve ever eaten. This is a great little find. Employees were super nice. Even gave us a sample of the fruit tea just to make sure we liked it.

Everything I’ve had here so far has been excellent. My favorite menu item is “The Roost” – pulled chicken sandwich with Alabama white sauce. Holy smokes, y’all. It’s incredible and makes my mouth water just thinking about it! Waldo’s has quickly become a top favorite place to eat when we’re in Franklin. Also, the customer service has been excellent every time as well!

I ordered the 1/4 white chicken, and it was hot & crispy. The batter had a slight jalapeño flavor, and the chicken was juicy & hot! The Macaroni & Cheese was great for me, the cheese sauce wasn’t salty, and the noodles were cooked just right. The collard greens could’ve used more seasoning, and it was a lil greasy to me. The sweet tea was just sweet enough. This was a lil small place, so seating was scarce. I just got mine to go & ate in my vehicle. Overall, I like it.

Nothing is ever perfect all the time. However, Waldo’s is pretty consistent with their perfection. Have you ever eaten something knowing you’d regret it? But it’s just so good you can’t say no? I can’t eat onions, tomatoes, or cucumbers. I KNOW better. But some things are worth the pain. Waldo’s has one of the best tomato cucumber salads I’ve ever eaten. Their sweet tea is the embodiment of true Southern sweet tea. I usually order the chicken and biscuits snack with Rooster Sauce, and it’s 99% of the time on point. I’ve introduced so many people to this specific location, including friends, coworkers, and my children! Everyone is in agreement that Waldo’s is tops! I no longer work in the area, so my trips are far less frequent, but when I did, my entire department ordered from there a MINIMUM of once a week. I usually do curbside, and it’s almost like they’re standing at the door waiting for me. I put the car in park and someone is standing at my window! Today…today I utilized the drive thru, and the young lady that took my order was an absolute gem. Unfortunately, she was TOO good at her job, and when she would ask if I would like anything else, it was nearly impossible to tell her no! I finally had to tell her not to ask me if I wanted anything else as I had already ordered THREE more items than I had originally intended to order! No regrets, though. I enjoyed everything I received. ☆☆☆☆☆

I’ll start out by saying that the chicken is great! Very fresh, super hot when served to you and delicious. Now for the feedback that I hope the restaurant will use to make it better. The past two times I’ve been there I’ve been served the scrap parts of the fries. I love their fries, however, I don’t like one inch fries. Those should just be thrown away. They also don’t give you a big portion of said scrap pieces. another issue, the ranch dips are VERY watered down. Almost like dipping your chicken in milk. I know that many people like their ranch dressing enough to drink it, but this is not the time or place to do so. The runny sauces seem to be the recipe because they’ve been this way every time I’ve eaten at Waldo’s. Also, if you like ketchup, you’ll need to ask a couple of people for it. They don’t just give it to you and it’s not on the table. I asked the person I ordered from, thinking it would come like the sauces do, but then had to ask the person that brought the food to the table. Be clear how many you want because they will bring you one little cup of it if don’t specify how many. I do really like this chicken, but unsure how many more times I’ll accept the fry stubs and runny sauce. I hope they will take this feedback as an opportunity to improve on what is already good.

I just moved here from Texas and I have never had a hot chicken sandwich like this before in my life. I came into the restaurant and said this was my first time ever being here waiter was nice and said I had to get the “FOUL MOUTH” sandwich. This sounds so good seven dollars with a side of fries on special. The consistency of the sandwich was amazing. The sauce was very very tasteful and Bread wasn’t soggy at all and to top it off a good margarita on the side as well, of course Casamigos. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming into the Franklin Tennessee area. It’s so good and you won’t regret it. If you stop by I hope you get to meet Curtis funny older gentleman with the apron will make you laugh the entire time. Along with Alejandra such a sweet staff member who cares about your experience in the restaurant.. very helpful and will make sure you’re taken care off. Once again, I rate this place 10/10 and will definitely be back.

I did not find Waldo. I did try his foul mouth sandwich. After asking about the heat level, they suggested the hot oil on the side so I could make it as hot as I wanted. I tried the sandwich without oil and the chicken and jalapeno slaw was awesome. I then drenched it in hot oil. Yummy! The skinny fries were great. Other than water from the ceiling dripping all over the front counter, it was great.
