I enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was great. My chicken fingers were thin and a little over cooked, the waffle fries were ok but again some were fried so crispy is wasn’t recognizable as potato. Fried pickles and boom boom shrimp were good. Most of my party were pleased with their experience.

Everything is fantastic. I have the best server friends I have ever met. The food and the service on a scale of 1 to 10 is definitely a 10. Celine, Breanne, Cierra, Allegra, Shelby and all the people I sat with are really the best with the best service and great personalities and I love coming here including one of the greatest managers Beth and the one of the greatest hosts Bianca and the rest of the hosts are fantastic. I will be back and I love coming here.

They’re short staffed and the staff is quite bad. We waited 20 minutes to sit at a table that was empty the entire time, surrounded by several other empty tables. The waitress got 5 of our 7 orders wrong. At no point did anyone offer an apology or suggest they fix it or offer a discount. They forgot the appetizers. No refills on water. We were sharing food and drinks at the table and trying to do our best on our own. It looks like it would be a fun place and the menu looked good but neither of those things are working out for them right now. I would avoid this place for a while and see if they survive. If they do maybe try them again in 6 months.

This restaurant either needs new cooks or better recipes! There were about 10 of us there and at least 3 people sent their food back, most were shrimp orders. I got the Voodoo Shrimp meal and it was not good at all (though I didn’t send mine back). The shrimp were tough and the sweet corn grits made me wish I had ordered something else. We just wasn’t pleased. However, the waitress was pretty good.

I can’t say enough good things about your restaurant. There are not enough words to describe my experience. My recent visit, I had your phenomenal Louisiana Platter, with fried jumbo shrimp, catfish, and crawfish etouffee! New Orleans style at its best, for here in Birmingham! I’ve had your burgers and steaks in the past, phenomenal, some of the best as well. Love the Devil on the Horseback appetizer, a big time favorite. Thanks for keeping up your standards for good food, service, and atmosphere. Top rated for casual dining! I will be back again soon!!!

I decided to have lunch at Walk-On’s in Hoover. This was my first time going to eat at any Walk-On’s. I was very impressed! They had a large variety of food to choose from on the menu and quite a few drink orders options. The outdoor patio was really nice and it is set up so that you have goood viewing options on all the large screen CDs from all seating areas. The food was great and the catfish was definitely fried Mississippi Delta Style! The service was great as well! So overall no complaints! I will definitely be going back!
