This is one hell of a special new place in Cowtown. Unbelievable dining experience and top notch service. Especially enjoyed sitting at the counter overlooking the kitchen to watch the magic and drama unfold. Sits at the far end of Magnolia across from the historic Paris Coffee Shop…a little edgy at night but these guys are plowing the new frontier down Magnolia and more gems are sure to follow. Couldn’t be more pleased with the experience tonight, Fort Worth can be very proud of this establishment.

Service and atmosphere were great. Oysters and bread pudding stood out for me but everything we tried was good. We almost took our kids here but I am glad we didn’t. Wouldn’t recommend for young children. Park in the garage and they’ll validate.

Walloon’s was EXCELLENT! The interior was thoughtfully designed and decorated. It has a great “Date Night” atmosphere, but it wasn’t stiff in a way that you couldn’t come in dressed casual. All of the staff members were friendly, attentive, and knowledgable about the menu. Every course was 5 stars. The bar was well stocked with any drink you could think of. We ordered the Martini which was very good. The Cold Water Oysters were fresh and delicious, and the Spicy Tuna Crudo was unique and fun. For dinner we tried the Seared Redfish and the Braised Short Rib. The redfish was cooked to perfection, and the side shrimp was a great addition. The short rib was so tender (no knife needed!) while the buttery potato puree was a great pairing for this dish. This was a classic dish that really stirred up the nostalgia of my childhood. It was so good, we came back for lunch the next day. Pro tip: if you park in the parking garage, bring your ticket in for free parking validation by your waiter. This is sure to become one of our local favorites!

10/10 recommend! This is such a great addition to Fort Worth. Everything from the decor, atmosphere, staff, food and drinks were top notch. Adam greeted us initially and came around to our table several times to check on our experience. Incredible customer service. We also had the pleasure of meeting Matt at the bar. It was a really busy night and he took the time to make our experience incredible too! Drinks were all great and the food was phenomenal. You have to try the seafood beignets and trout.

Really enjoyed my visit here! A friend and I came for lunch, we ordered oysters, Louisiana BBQ shrimp, the trout and redfish. The oysters were super fresh, I was impressed because it can be difficult to get really good fresh ones inland. BBQ shrimp was great and the sauce was on point, loved the trout as well I just think I’m not a brown butter person but overall the flavor of the fish was good. Paired with some Negronis and ranch water, we really enjoyed ourselves! Also they validate parking for the garage will be back

Spur of the moment decision to eat here. We were not aware that reservations were needed but the hostess directed us to the bar for service. These guys behind the bar were making it happen, working with speed and efficiency. Staff was friendly and welcoming, my friend and I order cocktails and split two appetizers. Very delicious. Would love to go back, with a reservation, to try more dishes. Everything coming out of the kitchen was looking so delicious.

High quality food for those special nights out. The steak and frites are excellent, and we loved everything we tried from the cocktail menu. Validated parking would have been nice though for the cost of the meal. Fort Worth needs more restaurants like this!
