Overall, this was a quality experience, especially for the location.

Friendly owner and laid back atmosphere. The buffalo chicken pizza was good, defiantly a crispy thin crust style. The cheesing sticks were ok, but the marinara dipping sauce was a bit bland. There were also some flies buzzing about.

Pizza was delicious! Thin crust, made fresh, fresh lemonade or cucumber water or bottled cokes. Friendly, quick service 2 minutes off the freeway, back patio.

It was rather disappointing to drop almost $40 on a burned pizza ($20 thin crust- not requested just made thin) overcooked cheese sticks, and sour house lemonade. The atmosphere of the restaurant was odd as well, as if the owners couldn’t decide on Italian or Hippy theme. Our server was polite, but it was very odd to have our card requested for payment before we even were given our bill to see. We left a little hungry, but not wanting to bother with it more.

What an unexpected experience! First of all, when you walk in, the warm friendly greeting alone, is worth the stop!! Southern hospitality right here in Colorado, and the delightful owner, Barb, is from Connecticut! They are so attentive and engaging while efficient and super clean. Sun tea and fresh squeezed lemonade started out and set the bar high! Our waitress was patient and sweet with an infectious smile! The cheesy breadsticks hot out of the oven were great! We chose pizza but there is a lot to choose from! I am a thin crust fan so i was in heaven with ample supply of fresh toppings! Super flavorful!!! To top it off we had homemade ice cream and she even gave her

I am traveling across country and decided to stop in Walsenburg Colorado. I stayed at The Anchor Inn which is a very quaint and cozy, cute place. Right down the street I found this wonderful restaurant and during my stay I ate every meal there! The taco pizza is amazing and Barb’s breakfasts are so good. I could not stop eating it even though I was so full. I had to tell myself to put my fork down and walk away. Her cooking is intoxicating!! The owners Barb and Steve Johnson are also very friendly and treat everyone with love. I will definitely be back! She also has a nice beer garden in the back that is pet friendly! Go check her out!

We felt like family here! The pizza was incredible. Pepperoni and crust is made fresh every day. She even had gluten free options. Breadsticks were homemade deliciousness. Even the dessert was made fresh that morning. Definitely worth the short jaunt off the intrastate.

I absoluetly loved this place. It may be small. But it is very welcoming. The people were so sweet and i hope i can come again soon. The food was absolutely remarkable. From the handmade lemonade freshly squeezed every morning, to the fresh pizza, to the homemade peach ice cream. Walsenburg Pizza is all around amazing. I highly recommend you go here to eat and have a great time.

Just had a truly amazing pizza at this place. So glad we made the detour into Walsenburg to try it. They have the absolute best, fresh squeezed lemonade served in an ice cold mason jar. The owner was super sweet to make us a half & half pie since we couldn’t make up on our minds and it was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back next time we are up this way.

Stopped for dinner quick on a Friday night while on a road trip. Called ahead to order the pizza, so it would be ready when we arrived. They were a little behind, so had to wait 10min, but definitely worth the wait. They use homemade sausage and fresh toppings. Pizza was definitely worth it. Small seating area for dining in, but free sun brewed sweet tea if you eat in. Wasn’t busy, one other couple eating in and one waiting for a take out order. Would eat here again if we needed to stop in Walsenburg again. They only take cash, no credit.
